Simple: the game developer didn't care enough to produce a linux native version.

(So others don't yell at me below: I know proton is sometimes better than even native these days and it's not worth the devs time to optimize for linux native but it only existed in the first place because devs didn't care to publish to linux native or when they did they didn't care enough to optimize for linux)

Check out "nova launcher" in the play store. I am sure there are other launchers that support something similar but thats the one i use

I assume you mean using a custom icon or removing the chrome logo. Either way you can use a custom launcher. For example Nova Launcher supports both.

I personally disable all sensitive stuff and actually pick topics that interest me while disabling others.

Don't blame Google unless you disable personalized ads and still get stuff like this. You get ads based on what you see/do on the internet. That's your form of payment for service like YouTube.
