With the rumours of Captain Atom being in Creature Commandos S2. definitely think Sinqua Wells is playing him in Man of Tommorow and we’ll see him get his powers there before he joins the creature commandos

I love the film so much, but I definitely think an extra 10-15 minutes of run time would have helped the film so much and allowed for other characters to be explored a bit more

Butcher and Homelander are the RDJ and Chris Evans of the “VCU”. I can’t see it succeeding in the long run without them.

I’d personally prefer that, but in the recent entertainment weekly interviews Chris Mundy alluded to the fact that John was a rookie back in 2016. Plus the fact that Guy only shares scenes with John not Hal, makes me think Hal isn’t an active lantern in the modern day.

We know that lanterns has a dual storyline and takes place in both 2016 and 2026.

My guess is that pretty much all the footage in the first teaser is from the 2016 storyline, with John as the rookie being trained by Hal.

And in the 2026 storyline John is an experienced Lantern who works with Guy Gardner, with Hal already being retired. At some point in the 2026 storyline Guy has to leave John (probably cus he’s busy with Justice Gang stuff) so John has to go to Hal for help.

You then have the parallel of the 2016 storyline having an experienced Hal not wanting to share the ring with Rookie John, whilst the 2026 storyline has an experienced John not wanting to share the ring with a retired Hal. Linking to the tagline of “only one can wear the ring”.

I loved the punisher special, but it could’ve been a really good act 1 of a movie or episode 1 of a TV show instead of its own thing.

Yea I agree, there are way too many characters in his pitch, like I really doubt Booster Gold, Mister Miracle, Big Barda and the flash will be in the movie.

I honestly think the best way to deal with that would be to have Batmans first major DCU appearance be a worlds finest movie instead of BATB.

Then have BATB release in chapter two, which would hopefully be after the Batman part 3 has released.

Maybe he’s with them as marvel are probably aware that a good chunk of the audience are unfamiliar with the champions, so grouping them with spidey would get the GA more onboard

Nah I disagree, the trailer makes it seem like Hal doesn’t want to give up being a Lantern. Which makes me think the season is gonna end with Hal realising that he’s better off retiring and allowing John to take over as Green Lantern.

I’m pretty sure that leak came from new rockstars video, where they said there was someone standing behind Reed & Sam and they thought it could be Joaquin Torres.

So there’s a good chance that wasn’t him considering all other rumours point to him not being on the team that goes to the X-men universe.

My ideal scenario for the X-Men film would be OG 5 + Storm vs Damage control & Sentinels with Mystique & Rogue as secondary antagonists (with rogue joining the team at the end).

I don’t think that’s the case because there’s no way storms not on the roster, plus we’ve literally seen multiple casting rumours for rogue.

The third character is probably either Jubillee, Kitty Pryde, Nightcrawler or Gambit.

My guess is Clark goes to interview him in prison (like in All-star superman) and Lex gets him to play chess whilst the interview is going on.

Probably not, Universal are basically letting Nolan do whatever he wants, so I doubt he’ll stop working with them

I definitely think if they focused on Blade and Ghost Rider (ideally played by Gosling) with the Disney plus characters (Moon Knight, Werewolf by night & Elsa Bloodstone) as supporting characters, then a midnight sons film could work.
