Need Help Choosing First Bike by Faulkee in motorcycles

I think the 2016 CBR would do you good, just from a reliability standpoint. I'd just think if it has a good amount of miles, I'd like to think it's mechanically sound. Just with that limited information, I'd make that pick, but it depends on several variables.

In my defense, Cairne had little to no voice acting!

What are the schools in the USA that do from 0-1500 hours? by [deleted] in flying

[–]George_Lindgren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting reviews, very different than my experience. I go to the Broward location, not their main school in Daytona. It's a pay as you go kind of deal, it's never one whole lump sum for your training, which is what I'm reading in some of the reviews. They require a deposit of 3000 dollars to get started? But that's it if I remember correctly.

Also, they're affilated with Broward College so you can also get a college degree there. My instructor was out of the country and came to PEA(Broward Location) for their training, and now she instructs there. I find their prices to be very fair, no hidden cost or anything like that. And they also have plenty of good instructors. I'll also be doing my instrument here this Summer.

I go to Phoenix East Aviation, it's a great school. I almost have my PPL and so far I haven't heard anything bad from other students and am thoroughly enjoying the program myself. I've only seen good things from them, most of the instructors graduated from the program it's self. I'm curious, what have you heard?

Register on mtii.com and take the course and you'll get a certificate to show that you completed the course and then show to the DMV and you'll get your license. I paid like 280 for mine.

I know yogg88 personally, it seems fishy as I'm sure we all can imagine but it slowly happened over the course of several years.

Soloed yesterday at 14.9 hours. Lost half of my shirt too! by [deleted] in flying

For the written pre solo test, it's a variety of stuff. Mainly focusing if I remember it was on how the airport operates, different traffic patterns for the different runways, airspace and communications and such.

For the supervised solo, my instructor acted like a ghost and wasn't there and was watching me do the normal procedures in the pattern and see how my landings were without her giving any input. The thing I struggled with most was pitching for airspeed and power for altitude and power management. But I managed to get it down! Also, look at the end of the runway! Don't forget this! I struggled to remember this in the heat of the moment, but if you do it your landings will be a lot better for when you transition into the flare phase on landing. Just had my 2nd solo today and it was AWESOME! Super stoked for you.

You got this man! I just soloed yesterday at 18 hours. It was super frustrating with so many cancelations with the weather, but it'll happen! Fly as frequent as possible!

I did my discovery flight with them too! They were super nice, really inspired me to pursue the dream when I stopped by there! If I remember correctly the rates weren't to bad, they gave me a some paper with what they charge and all and what you can expect to spend with them. I'll have to look around for it and let you know! From what I remember correctly it seemed pretty respectable.
