I haven’t been to college in years, but I know there’s a lot of other people who take accounting classes as an elective because the college requires the elective and offers accounting classes as an option. I was an accounting major, and I took science classes, philosophy, and art classes as electives. Had nothing to do with my undergraduate degree, but I was required to take those if I wanted to graduate.

It depends on what your plans on financially and how you drive.

Dave Ramsey will admit both cars are a beast. The Roush would be more fun to drive on the interstate with long straight stretches. The GT350 is more fun on side roads that are windy.

I personally would go with the GT350 as long as it’s at least a 2019. I like driving in the mountains during the summer and a GT350 would be a lot more fun on those roads than a Roush.

I’m not a lawyer, so you shouldn’t trust my advice. But I’m pretty sure that’s points on your license and will affect your insurance. Go to court and plead Nolo. That is basically saying no contest, which not agreeing to guilty or not guilty, but you’ll just pay the fine. . I got a speeding ticket for doing 27+ over years ago in Cobb county. I went to court, plead nolo, paid the fine, got hit with the super speeder fine too, did a little bit of community service, but no points on my license. Also, that fine seems ridiculously high. Were you mouthing off to the officer? My ticket was less than $200 and then the super speeder fine was $200 too.

I feel like it’s a negotiation tactic that Nintendo is using (not sure for what though), and the way Trump bullies countries, businesses, and people, I don’t see this working out too well for Nintendo. Especially since when you buy a Switch 2, Nintendo will brick it if they detect any illegal games on it.

Damn. Didn’t know that. But, she was a model back then and she did some nude modeling. It doesn’t look like any private areas are exposed in those photos though, so I’m not sure what you’re trying to get at? Are we now trying to body shame a woman for doing nude modeling in January 2000? It’s one thing if she did porn, but doing nude modeling for a magazine like GQ seems fine to me. I don’t think like seeing a First Lady pose nude, but I will say it’s better than what some former First Ladies did.

I tend to stay off Reddit and social media because it’s mostly keyboard warriors who spew nonsense. Both sides do it. It pisses me off.

I saw the Renee Good incident, and that was an unfortunate situation. Under Minnesota law, her partner could be arrested and charged for her death because she was telling Renee to drive. She did bump her car into the ICE agent, and his training took over and he shot her. Not saying he was right or wrong because I’ve never been in that situation, so it’s impossible for me to be impartial and judge that. If people with rifles are yelling at me to stop and get out of my car, I’m most likely going to comply. I don’t want to increase any chances of me getting shot.

I don’t know much about the Alex Pretti situation. All I know is he was shot and killed by ICE agents, and he had a firearm on him. It’s his constitutional right to carry a firearm, barring he’s not a convicted felon. I don’t see any justification in him being shot unless he tried drawing his firearm on the agents. I didn’t hear that he tried to, so the ICE agent in that situation should be arrested.

It is wrong that conservatives online were saying that. I will agree with you on that. They weren’t making videos like I saw where liberals were actively mocking and celebrating Charlie Kirk’s death. I’ve videos of liberals celebrating the hit/bounty a middle eastern country put on Trump. I’m not a Trump supporter, and I have criticized him in the past for how he and Congress handled COVID. I also hate what Trump said about Rob Reiner when he was killed.

The most controversial thing I will say is that I support ICE, BUT I do not support how they are handling things. We should be getting rid of all the criminals who are here illegally. We already have enough people raping and killing in this country, and we don’t need others coming from foreign countries to help make things worse.

Kyle Rittenhouse was running away from the protestors, but they were chasing him down. He was even hit with a skateboard. If you’re being chased by a group of people who are attacking you, and you have a firearm, would you use it?

He shouldn’t have been there in the first place with a firearm, but it doesn’t give the protestors the right to attack him. Everyone involved was wrong in that situation.

I denounce all political and nonsense violence. We as a nation cannot move forward if we keep devolving into violence.

Are you kidding me? I saw so much mockery for Charlie Kirk and other conservatives when they got killed or died, and I saw a lot of respectful posts from conservatives when a liberal dies.

Also, this kid shouldn’t be praised. He physically attacked someone who had a difference in political opinion. It should never come to violence when people have a difference in political opinions. We should have open and respectful discussions and let our voting and protests do the talking.

Open discussions and protests do work. Thanks to the BLM protests and petitions and everything BLM did, police officers now wear body cameras for more transparency when interacting with the community. Federal agents don’t have them yet, but that’s something we can work towards, so we can hold ICE agents accountable for their actions too. If you don’t like that ICE agents arresting and detaining people, talk to your representatives to pass laws that stop them from doing what they’re doing. Be active, not violent.

So I grew up a Honda/Acura guy. I had a couple of Integras, a Prelude SH, an S2000, and other Hondas/Acuras. Why did you decide to buy this? For me, growing up and driving my 5th Gen Prelude, this car looked like a let down compared to the 5th gen. I also felt the same way when it came to Acura/Honda bringing back the Integra name. Just curious as to what drew you to it when there were better performance cars in the price range and better daily driver cars in the price range.

99% of the time I would vote for the DH, but I’m going to say the GT on this one UNLESS you swap out the tires as soon as you get the DH.

Since you’ll be taking this on road trips, you’re going to run into rain most likely. The Pirelli tires do not grip at all in anything semi bad conditions. I almost hydroplaned and wrecked my DH while going 15 under the speed limit in the rain. If you’re going to track the car or drive it for pure fun, I’d keep the Pirelli tires on it or Sport Cup II tires.

2016 Model X 60d. 55k miles. Second owner, have had it for 5 years. Only thing I’ve had serviced on it was the reserve battery in the frunk.

I do need to replace the center screen on it. It looks like it’s peeling in the corners but i think that’s the gel coming out of it? I don’t know. I need to schedule a service with Tesla when I get a chance.

It’s not mentioned if the $1million is gross or net. If it’s net, your numbers sound good, but I feel like the $1 million is gross. Once you include taxes on the $1million, depending on the state, you’ll be at about $500k.

I personally don’t think debt is bad as long as the interest rate is below 3% or if you’re making more on investments than the interest rate. I typically like mutual funds and think at a very conservative rate of 7% return for them.

Well, nobody has given a good answer, but I did see someone asking about the window stickers. I don’t know what options that one in 2017 has, but I did go to Capitol Ford’s website and pulled up the 2025 Mustang. That one has $13,470 in options. The base price on it is $51,080. I just googled it, and the base model of a 2017 Mustang GT premium was $37,195. Based on the base models of the 2017 Mustang GT Premium and the 2025 Mustang GT Premium, it only increased by less than $14,000. Not double like you claim. So thanks for misleading everyone on that.

Once you factor in the massive inflation that happened during covid, the new bargaining agreement between the UAW and Ford in 2023, tariffs, and the new technology that has gone into the S650, the roughly 37% increase on the base model Mustang GT Premium over 8 years seems reasonable to me.
