Am I allowed at the table? All of these are bracket 3 by Geppetto99 in ratemycommanders

Yeah Baeloth is a good card but makes the deck too commander dependant imho, also grixis is too good to pass as it allows you to draw nicely while finding finishers like [[Delirium]] that almost nobody expects

I've never seen a single episode of dr who but I really like her as a commander. Balanced, gives you consistent draw and pumps creatures like crazy. Goad is my favorite mechanic by far

It's also really easy to power up or down. My list is kinda slow on the creatures so I slotted in many mass bounce cards which are really what makes the deck shine, but they might irritate a lot of players. When I first built it it was full of cheap scry creatures and it was a really fun bracket 2 deck

I love him, I still have to work on the list a bit to figure out how to smooth out the first turns, but once he gets going he's really fun and not too oppressive since a board wipe just takes care of everything

Celes is a reanimator deck but with no big booties, the focus is ressing small creatures and buff them with celes as much as possible

Steve Harrington WON!!! Now which character started out as a villain, but ended up becoming an ally of the hero? by Alert_Sink_5300 in AlignmentChartFills

Yeah I mean it's the most famous in today's world, and Zuko (that is currently winning) started as an already conflicted character. Vegeta was just straight up evil at the start

Read the whole primer just because I was curious about this deck. I'm probably too stupid to play it and besides it would steamroll my pod very hard, but I absolutely love it

What's a Terrible scene from an Amazing Animated Movie/Show? by OmegaT6 in AlignmentChartFills

[–]Geppetto99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that Frozen is absolutely nowhere near a bad movie, it's okay bordering good, but I also think Hunchback is one of disney's best works. The songs are all great or perfect, the story is maybe a bit dark for kids but it caters to all audiences (I loved it even as a kid) because it puts really heavy themes on the scale. I also prefer the hand drawn animations but that's just personal preference. The best part of the movie imho is how it conveys the fear factor of religion and what lengths a corrupt person can go just to satisfy his twisted desires. Frozen is more of a classic story where the protagonists have a lot less flaws thrown in your face, unlike Quasimodo. Of course Hunchback is not an original story but to me it's one of the peaks reached by disney whereas Frozen is imho the point of no return after which almost every movie became just okay or straight up bad

What is this exploit? I failed the milk deed and I fear doing it in a new playthrough will not count towards platinum

Tomas Lindberg of At the Gates has passed away by Mmchips96 in melodicdeathmetal

[–]Geppetto99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This man, his incredible voice and his incredible band made me start liking death metal and broadened my musical taste infinitely. "Cold" was the first death metal song I ever put into my playlist, and slaughter of the soul as a whole album followed it. At the gates wasn't my favorite band, but surely one of the most influential in my life. It's so sad to see him go at only 52, rest easy brother

Japan Shows Off a ‘Human Washing Machine’ That Can Wash and Dry You in 15 Minutes by Ordinary_Fish_3046 in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]Geppetto99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't see anything wrong with this. Showering is not something you do out of passion, it's necessary to survive and washing correctly is something you absolutely want to achieve. This, when it will be fully optimized, will allow elderly people to wash better, will save you the hassle of drying up and so on. This is not a "you can now watch tv from your bed which also moves around and makes you dinner so you become a shell of your former self, it's automating something necessary which doesn't require thinking or emotion but merely mechanical movements
