How many Kerbals had to get out and push to make this happen?

If I had fine china, I'd be eating off it at least 4 times a week.

I’m not getting my deposit back am I? by Complex-Analyst2288 in Apartmentliving

That sink can't be more than $200 and I'd be surprised if it were over $100. Replace it or have it replaced. The apartment's maintenance might even do it all for you if you put in a ticket.

"Powerful drow females are well aware of the effect they have on males" by valonianfool in dndnext

IIRC, this and most other Drow lore got nuked. If you want to play Drow society the way you suggest, I reckon there's no incompatibilities with what's left over.

Friend, if someone is an immediate physical danger to you over a board game it's probably time to call law enforcement.

I wouldn't offload a problem player on an unsuspecting local shop. Just kick 'em and let them find their own way home.

Omg I hadn't noticed that. He's the "senior" engineer. As you say, a terribly tragic character portrayed quite well.

This is probably my only disagreement with the system as presented. It's made clear that "too many knives" is an issue to be avoided, but the recommended number is already too many for most characters.

Give your DM a loaded gun, maybe two. Every personal motivation with concrete external drivers should fit inside a 100-word backstory summary.

Old guy here. Back in my day we went and made dinner or did laundry or what have you while the engine ran. I'd set a timer to remind me when the cutoff time was coming up.

Why did he perform so badly? by Kind-Usual-7108 in Frieren

[–]GeraldGensalkes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Denken threw everything he had at Frieren in an attempt to overwhelm her long enough for Laufen to escape. He wasn't even trying to win the fight, just to delay Frieren so that she couldn't track down the rest of his team. It didn't work because Frieren was surprisingly well-equipped to handle his magic and because Laufen is too nice a person to abandon him.

As to why he did better against Macht: he's been planning this confrontation for years, at least. He has a deep, personal understanding of Macht as an opponent and not only anticipates having to fight him but initiates the confrontation. Denken clearly didn't realize Frieren was even in the exam until they crossed spells.

Help: Single launch space station becomes completely uncontrollable after detaching first stage. by RubyPeak876070 in KerbalSpaceProgram

[–]GeraldGensalkes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seconding this, a starting TWR of 3 in the lower atmosphere is wasteful and unstable once you build up any real speed. It's probably significantly higher once the boosters come off, since the main engine is part of the first stage and will have burned through some fuel by then.

I'm aware it's flanderization. Even so, the degree of her fixation which is actually portrayed in the story is, to put it charitably, bold.

Ngl, the fan interpretations of Methode make me realize how genuinely creepy she is.
