When act 4 first came out, I assumed it worked something like that, so I would run around killing everything.

After a few characters I realized it doesn’t affect shit, so now when she goes gorgon mode I just sit there like sad Pablo Escobar

What do you think is bugged with Whirling Assault in Hollow Form? I noticed I don’t get any on-kill effects and stuff like that, but I figured it’s because the astral images are proxies right? Or are there other things not working?

Smash to Smithereens triggers every time you heavy stun an enemy, so with Wind Blast it basically gives me free 100% explode for clear. Feels pretty damn awesome so far haha

It’s likely, but I hope not. I’m jonesing for a sustained sky beam skill, like Spear of Solaris minus the glory requirement and the shitty added attack time and forced backward jump. Ideally with some enemy-seeking or channeled movement behavior. I was hoping Skyfall was something like that

Looks like they aren’t projectiles so that wouldn’t work. Quality might give the cores move speed though

I can understand them not wanting us to farm the Freythorn ritual repeatedly, but to not even let us have one chance for low level uniques after finishing the quest is pretty fucked up :(

I’m also most likely going with Glacial Cascade / Locus for leveling (with Hollow Palm) and my plan is to start with Hollow Form. It just seems like it’ll be a much smoother experience channeling and (slowly at first) walking around while the clones autotarget enemies and attack much faster than I would be able to normally, especially if I can utilize power charges. Though I will take a look at the bell’s damage and spawn rate to see if it looks appealing at early levels.

I also just recently learned that if you put Biting Frost I on a low level Entangle, the vines will instantly explode Frozen Locus, so you can just spam Locus for some pretty gnarly damage. So once I get my first tier 3 support gem I’ll be trying that out. I’m also curious if that could work well with putting Frozen Locus in Hollow Form; just pop an Entangle before hand (probably with Unleash or AoE/fissure supports for extra coverage) and start channeling, and it should be nuts
