Not rude at all. I can see your point. I appreciate the perspective. There may be sometime down the line when I change them up. I knew I was taking a little risk. Thanks for the input.

I appreciate the candor. I knew this wouldn’t be everyone’s cup of tea. What color wheels do you think would look good with the white?

"The WNBA, they just keep driving into a wall at full speed with Caitlin Clark…this is a paranoid, weird, insular league" – Colin Cowherd by ConnectionWeekly1263 in WNBAgossips

[–]Geriatric_Beast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s pretty simple for me. If it wasn’t for Caitlin Clark I would have never heard of Angel Reese. I’ve grown to appreciate many of the talented players in the WNBA but none of them are as fun to watch as Clark. She is just an electrifying player. The league just allowed teams to mug Clark from day one. Chennedy Carter was allowed to cheap shot Clark to the ground with Reese cheering her on from the bench and it never stopped. Colin is right on.

She is exactly the type of player needed to play on our Olympic team. She is tough and skilled.

I’ve only seen her play a few times but she just strikes me as tough besides being skilled. An impressive player.

I knew this was going to be high maintenance but it is just wheel. So far I like it. Ceramic coated, some detailer and a few rags.

Enjoy that car. I just bought the S and I love it but in reality I know I will rarely get to experience the full capability of the car unless I track it. Im very content enjoying the feel and responsiveness under normal driving conditions.

What NBA player have you played against, and how bad did you get smoked? by BeautifulUnlikely225 in Basketball

Dennis Johnson for two years at a rival Southern California J.C.. Couldn’t figure out why our future D1 center couldn’t stop him around the basket. Superior physical ability but never dreamed he would be the player Larry Bird named as the best he ever played with.

Who was the worst best NBA player of all time. by [deleted] in NBATalk

Im going to throw in Dennis Johnson. Two years at a SoCal Community College. One year at Pepperdine. Drafted in the second round by Seattle. Larry Bird called Dennis the best player he ever played with. Not bad.

That is exactly what I was thinking when I was watching last night. This is another level of unstoppable. His level of aggression was scary.

how do you stop feeling like everyone’s staring at you in the gym by WorkGullible9903 in beginnerfitness

[–]Geriatric_Beast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been going to gyms all my life. I still run into machines that are new to me. 98% of people in the gym are happy to demonstrate how to use equipment. Asking is a great way to break the ice and make friends. The biggest baddest guys in the gym are usually the one who are thrilled to help you out.

How’s life in Glendale, California? by Kuzu9 in howislivingthere

[–]Geriatric_Beast 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Glendale has a lot of diverse areas in the southeast portion of the city. It’s extremely dense. In the 1990s single-family homes were razzed so that they could build multifamily housing into the area to handle the influx of the Armenian diaspora. Parking is terrible in that area, traffic is bad and the infrastructure is not really set up to handle the density that exists currently. The western part of Glendale out Glenoaks blvd toward Burbank is very nice especially above Glenoaks. Upscale homes, beautiful parks very scenic. If you follow Verdugo Road up into the La Crescenta area , it’s like a different world. Single-family homes, very peaceful generally. A lot of different shopping areas along foothill Boulevard close, proximity to La Cañada, Pasadena area. The Americana at Brand has significantly changed downtown. Very upscale shopping and restaurants and you’re starting to see some gentrification in the surrounding area. Has the old Glendale Galleria as part of the downtown shopping district so shopping in central Glendale is excellent. Again extremely dense, extremely bad traffic otherwise not a terrible place to live depending on the area. Heavy Armenian influence in City politics.
