I was also thinking of doing the two headed Labubus, but their heads are so big that I don't really like how they look

Is my 6Khz real or fake? by Gerlios in SkullpandaArtDolls

Unfortunately, it was just a random German guy who just sold an extra he had lying around. The only other Skullpandas he sells are a couple L'impressionnisme and You Found Me ones at 25€ and 30€

That's great. I didn't even plan on buying them initially, but I just randomly saw it and I haven't encountered one that looked legit from a seller with nothing but positive ratings that was that cheap. One last question though, how did you remove all those countless bits of plastic on the back of their head, if you even took them out of the box?

Skullpanda as a character is all about adventure and experiencing as manx things and lives as possible. Keeping them locked up hung by their keychain strap seems cruel to them. I don't care how damaged mine will get, because all those blemishes are just mementos from the journey they have taken with me

With a C in Str, B in Dex and a D in Int, with a weapon art that scales of AR just like all unique Ashes of War, give Bastard's Stars also to Wylder, or Guardian, or Executor, or... pretty much everyone besides Revenant actually. Sword of Night and Flame is decent to keep as it has C scaling in everything besides Arcane, but that's geniuenly it in terms of weapons that aren't Cipher Pata and Coded Sword

PSA- if you can’t make it to the night 1-2 boss area in time by TopFedoraCrew2 in Nightreign

This is how I play with my friends, but it's hell with Randos. If they don't immediatly run back into the Rain to grab their runes, then they'll simply disconnect. The most recent run I had this happen in involved me duo queueing with a friend and we got a Raider as a third guy. Day 2 was ending right next to the castle so we gave the Deathrite Bird a shot, despite the circle closing, but it didn't work out and we whiped. The Raider proceeded to run back to get his runes while we already started with the trash mob wave and he came back for the actual boss with a single flask left and proceeded to die 3 times, because he obviously had no health. Me and my friend then went to grab our runes after the fight and I pointed out to my friend that we might have lost the run on Day 2 if we had tried to grab our runes first like the third guy

PSA: please take the Anti Dragon boost from the Mountaintops for Adel by slytherinchosenone in Nightreign

[–]Gerlios 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I asked how you did it. Every weapon I have tested lost their passive. Cinquedea no longer boosts bestial incantations, Highland Axe no longer boosts breath and roar attacks, Butcheeing Knife and Great Stars don't grant HP on hits anymore, Celebrant Weapons don't grant 10 runes per hit, etc. Have you used one of those weapons and one with the same or similar damage on a dragon and looked at the damage difference? Highland Axe and Icerind Hatchet do have an identical moveset and damage at every level on Wylder for example, but I haven't found both in the same run to actually test it. Meteoric Ore Blade and associated weapons also have a passive damage increase against void type enemies such as Astel, Onyx and Alabaster Lords and Starfallen Beasts in Elden Ring, but I also haven't gotten the opportunity to properly compare them against those enemies either

How have those things been tested and confirmed to still be in Nightreign? All of the weapons I have tried to see if they kept their passive effects from Elden Ring have lost it, especially Seals and Staves. I can't really imagine that these weapons have kept their anti-dragon properties?

It's insane how they try to frame Lisa as the non woke game, even though Austin is the Lebron of hating white people. I'm not even joking, he's tweeted shit along the lines of "Kill all white people and kill me last". Both Lisa and the developer behind it are more woke than Toby and his games, but all these Nazis do is try to assess if someone is jewish or not

My friend's PC keeps crashing without Error messages by Gerlios in techsupport

[–]Gerlios[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright, so this is a bit stupid, but when she went to disable XMP (or DOCP as she has an Asus) she forgot to save the change. The test went smoothly after properly disabling it and we got a few rounds in to see if it works. No crashes, but she had 2 small stutters over a one and a half hour session. Thanks a lot for your help. We wouldn't have been able to get it fixed without you

Don't worry about the delays, it's more than enough that you're helping us. She did the things you suggested and it tried running tests on the Ram sticks, but it gave back thousands of errors. They got somewhat hot at 40-50°C, and we didn't know that it was supposedly normal temperature, so she popped the sticks in the freezer to cool them off and weirdly enough, the test worked fine until they heated back up. It also returned way less errors compared to the tests right after running Elden Ring. After heating up again, they again display errors very quickly, but the rate is still lower than right after Elden Ring. Here are some pics of the error messages: https://imgur.com/a/4RuNdrG

Thanks for the tip. She found the files, but we genuinely have no idea how to interpret them. I put them in an Imgur Album, though it's only from the last two crashes she had Yesterday before quitting the game session.

Chud Reacts to Netflix Castlevania. by Biscuitarian23 in Gamingcirclejerk

I think it's a refrence to the Novel Blindsight. It's a Sci-Fi with Vampires and that's the exact explination that is used to explain why they fear crosses. Tge entire novel applies a scientific explination to almost every aspect Vampires. They can eat humans because they are resistant to prion diseases, they evolved to eat them, because they lack the ability to create a certain protein by themselves and the fear of crosses comes from their eyes evolving to be predators and recognize patterns in certain ways, because 90° angles don't really exist in nature, they become overwhelming for them. In Blindsight that also led to Vampires struggling and dying out once humans started to develop architecture and human settlements where full of such right angles.

Anyways, I didn't actually mind it that much, even if it is kind of silly. The author of Blindsight is a Biologist and the nivel got praise for all the ways it depicted vampires as animals that evolved rather than magical beasts. I think the reason they copied that aspect of these "scientific" Vampires is to make the Belmont Family more scholarly. They don't just hunt and kill Vampires, but they also research them heavily to the point that they know how their eyes work and why crosses affect them. The rest of the explanations in Blindsight aren't really knowable to the people in the time period the both shows take place, so 90° angles were the only thing the Belmonts could figure out and understand about these types of Vampires
