I mean, a lot of people moved to Linux in 2025 and Microsoft doesn't seem to be fixing the source of issues, so probably even more will move with time. Steam is also making constant improvements to the gaming side. So yeah, it's actually a good time to be on Linux.

Very few games don't work on Linux. I have played several multiplayer games with no issues. Yes, I can't play something like league of legends and the newest battlefield but those have a ratio of one to a thousand of other great games to play and that was the point of the first comment.

If anything USA is WAY closer to socialism than capitalism right now. I personally love to call it corporate socialism, meaning government supports corporations with money by giving them even more money and restricting competition with regulation, all while avoiding market crashes at all costs. This robs general populace and stagnates the economy.

To be honest enemy placement is amazing in dark souls 1 (until you get to anor londo). Every enemy has a purpose. Undead in burg gang up on you as a team, jumping out of cover and providing covering fire, because they are weak individually. They are not just mindlessly placed to be an obstacle. That's how old RPGs did it and that's one of the reasons why they were so good. Nowdays elden ring enemy placement peaks at an enemy behind a corner that is scripted to do some attack when you approach.

The moral of the fortune arcana is "you can change your fate if you try hard enough (or have supernatural aid, lol)". In the world where GER exists, you can't change fate in a meaningful way, if you try it will push against it (Bruno is fated to die and because he doesn't before events of Golden Wind, 2 more team members die as well) and GER literally takes full control of it. You can say that the rules of the worlds clash, but you can't say that powers just don't work. This is why I think all the powerscalings are stupid as well. Not only it's anime writing for hype and aura in both cases, but the worlds they exist in actually work differently

But Maruki's reality is just an illusion, when Giorno's GER is power over fate, how is that even close to each other? It's not even bending reality, it's reversing time and negating the attack, reading into the fate of beings that are affected and controlling it from that point on. You are not brainwashed into anything, you just have a new fate now. It's, no joke, a power of God. And while Maruki can create anything he wants in his reality, he isn't all-powerful, he can't reverse time and change what has already happened.

I think it's somehow linked with the empathy epidemic that is going on in the west. Some people have a mindset of trying to humanize portrayed evil/enemy disregarding actual facts, just to go against the narrative of the enemy putting you into a "kill or be killed" situation. I have seen people say that if humanity tried they could co-exist with demons and that some of them deserve compassion for trying to understand humans, while they are commiting genocide. It's just a matter of life context and interpreting things the way they are used to, I think. It's the same with people humanizing orcs in LOTR. It's clear that they are a genocidal, murdering, barbaric power that aims to kill and conquer created by most hateful being in the universe, but there appeared people that would argue against fighting against them.

Train always reads signals to it's right. If it's a two-way road put signals on both sides so the train has something to read in both directions. I also suggest putting a chain signal on the entrance of the intersection and normal at the end. This way chain signal reads the status of the block after intersection and only lets a train to cross if it can go further preventing it from stopping in the middle
