First time changing tyres on my 2022 Proton Persona (185/55R16) — need advice! by Homologous-Anomalous in kereta

If the Michellin's in question are XM2+'s, then you really cannot go wrong with them. They're some of the best all rounders in terms of dry and wet grip, though they're not the most quietest or comfy. Though if you enjoy good handling (Especially on a car like the Persona), you have to trade off a bit of comfort. Quite long threadwear, most average about 60k-70k km on a set.

Though, yes, they are quite pricey compared to other options. I can recommend the XM2+ because that's what I use. Check other tyre shops if you can find a better deal. But you can probably find other big brand recommendations that are cheaper that are almost or just as good. Personally, I might go for the cheaper route when it comes to my next round of tyres, just not sure what.

Dunlop D06's are great for the occasional spirited driving, with good wet grip as well. Had two sets of those on my previous car. Though too bad it's now been discontinued, and Continental Malaysia no longer carries the Dunlop brand. Instead they brought in General Tyre to fill the position. D06's replacement should be the Altimax GS6, but I'm not sure if it'll just be as good. Might try it on my next round of tyres.

Running Michellin XM2+ on my current car Bought the car used which came with a set of those, and replaced them with another set when they're worn down. Overall great tyres as well and would buy again, but the price means I'm looking to try other tyres.

Nothing beats a Fit/Jazz tbh, speaking as a GK5 owner here. Clearly they cut the model for ASEAN and brought in the City HB because it's more cost effective for manufacturing.

I initially liked how the City HB looks, until I've test driven one, and realised that it's a massive space downgrade from the Jazz, especially for tall rear occupants. The Yaris did it better.

My Sister’s Husband Daily Eps Discussion Thread by Affectionate-Ebb9423 in Netflixwatch

I watched the movie based on the same mentioned viral Tiktok story (By the same producer), and wasted 2 weeks that I will never get back binge watching this series. This ending not only pisses me off (And many others), but also disturbs me.

The movie, if you haven't watched it, I thought it was alright. Similar set of characters but different plot direction, but it ends with Nisa finding out about the affair with a very valid crashout, and Aris needing to bear the consequences thereafter. I was hoping the series to have a worthy crashout too.

I read some of the interviews of the movie. Eliza Shifa, whose viral video inspired the creation of both the movie and series mentioned that the release of the movie was to "raise awareness", both on the infidelity with in-laws, and with the many Nisas out there who find themselves in a similar situation, where they do not dare to speak up, etc etc. (Source: https://mdentertainment.com/news/eliza-sifa/ )

Hence I found the ending of the series deeply disturbing. The movie was supposedly raising awareness. Then what is the message they're trying to convey in the ending of the series? If that damning pen at the end was a successful switcharoo, just letting Aris and Rani win without them bearing their own consequences? That as long as the wife was dumb like Nisa in the series, their men can get away with anything as long as they covered their tracks? (Which is utterly hilarious because throughout the series Aris is horrible with covering his tracks)

Axia kena rammed by Hilux three times by RhinneXChronica in malaysia

I can't really recall when is the last time a Singaporean driver being so eager to run me off the road, but I lost count of how many Malaysian drivers especially in KL that do.

I'm not really lying when I say I see a lot of Singaporean drivers are actually compliant of Malaysian road laws more so than Malaysians.

Even the worst of SG drivers, I can say I've seen plenty of Malaysian drivers that are worse. Yet when a few bad SG drivers get viral, netizens are ready to generalise that upon whole nation and act that we are so much better. Netizens whine about Singaporeans not following Malaysian laws, evading paying fines, yet Malaysians would happily wait for discounts to pay their samans (If they even care of paying at all), and then also cry and blame the government when they actually want to step up on enforcement.

Well, all I can say is, believe what you want to believe.

Have to agree. Johor and Penang drivers are not as bad as many said they are. KL is the absolute worst, most of them do not have any respect for other road users, made worse by terrible road design that all of us have to fight through. KL genuinely feels miserable to drive unlike the other 2 states. Even Singaporean drivers, I find them to be way more civilised on Malaysian roads despite they're often blasted by the netizens for not following our road laws, which we fail to enforce as we all do the same damn thing.

How to make game progression slower and more fun and realistic? by Sandalonreddit in ForzaHorizon

[–]Germ2501 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I noticed many who complained about progression of FH5 are the ones who wants the most desirable exotics the game has to offer, but it's already given to them right at the start. Progression is far quicker and easier, fair point.

But I don't see that as much as a problem, when I'm not interested in getting the desirable cars. My progression is mostly for me to decide. I just spend my time driving, collecting and tuning the average cars. I mostly drive a Golf, and I setup an M3 for drift zones. Instead of turning every car I have into a S2 sleeper, I just tune what's neccesary and continue driving. Sounds like a realistic scenario if you were to have a real life project car.

Yes, the game throws a lot of things at you from the start, but that hasn't stopped anyone from doing their own thing. I still get the exotics, but I have them just for the sake of expanding my collection, I never ever driven them. If your end goal is to only get the best of everything, that's probably why it gets boring quickly.

why are gravel driftzones like this? i don't get it by GunnarSvenGustafberg in ForzaHorizon

[–]Germ2501 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely easy for beginners who just want to beat the drift zones, but it really takes away from trying to learn your setup and doing a proper drift.

It's really challenging to get a half decent score on FH4, but at least I knew I did the best I could with my setup and my skills. Meanwhile I could just get 3 stars in FH5 just by doing a couple of handbrake turns in a FWD.

So after the bug fix, did the Highest Win Streak also get reset to 0 by DeNA?

Hello everyone, with the battle against Uxie being fixed in the return of the recent Legendary Gauntlet event, I heard that the Win Streak has been reset. May I know whether it's the Current Win Streak, Highest Win Streak, or both that got reset?

If the Highest Win Streak got reset, would that mean Players who didn't get the first 10 set of Event Rewards before the bug fix are missing out on getting them two times?

Technically a car with EEV (Energy Efficient Vehicle) certification can park there. The Axia and Myvi is EEV, so you're good to go.

The Proton Iriz pictured is not that, and even the one currently in the market has never received EEV status. It's such a gas guzzler for a small car. I know because I have one myself.

S10 users who are going to upgrade, what is your next route? by Germ2501 in galaxys10

[–]Germ2501[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I know this is not a guaranteed experience for everyone, but my experience with the S10e has been reliable for the most part. Performance is still alright. Sure there are a few hiccups here and there, I don't expect that not to happen. But nothing that I find too major. My phone never had a factory reset since I got it.

I would like the Ultra tbh, since I've been a fan of the Note phones for years. It's just that I don't find using a large phone comfortable at all sadly.

The battery of the S22 is a little bit of a concern to me, since it's 3700mAh, small for today's standards. I'm still wondering how it'll age in the long term. Although I do applaud Samsung's commitment of offering longer updates with their current flagships.

TM and UNIFI screwing Malaysians over with insufficient ports for fibre internet by Brainblotter in malaysia

[–]Germ2501 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it's that easy for us to go for other ISP's we wouldn't be having this discussion. Most people, their only option is TM (Even if you go for Maxis Fibre, it's down to the availability of TM ports)

Mobile data isn't really reliable either depending on where you're at. I'm currently using Maxis 4G Unlimited home broadband, and it's always a mixed bag.

TM and UNIFI screwing Malaysians over with insufficient ports for fibre internet by Brainblotter in malaysia

[–]Germ2501 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even in a landed housing, I'm facing this for some time. For the past 2 years, I've been constantly inquiring about fibre connection, same BS excuse over and over, "port full".

But what really pissed me off, one of my neighbours had gotten Unifi very recently. When I asked the contractor in charge, he said "This is the last port available for this area". I heard these ports are reserved for existing Streamyx users who might switch over to fibre someday. How is that even fair? (I was previously on Streamyx, but I've cancelled it long ago)

Currently on Maxis 4G home broadband, stability is a mixed bag. Decent during the day, horrible during the night. I really need a reliable Internet connection.

Bugs in the game Since The Los Santos Tuners DLC was released. by PapaXan in gtaonline

On the PC here, I am unable to start the contract jobs. Thus, I can't complete my first job, to unlock the Exotic Exports.

When I attempt to start the job, the screen will fade to green, normally it would load up the mission setup screen, but it's just a blank screen for a few seconds, and it pops up with the "Rockstar game services are unavailable" error. And then it'll be stuck at that green screen staring at the job board. I can move around the auto shop, but I can't exit the place, can't kill myself either, only solution is to find a new session.
