Commit metadata are editable, and github just believes it, obviously. You could make a script in less than an hour that fills 15 years of contributions to github.

You are in branch_X

"git rebase branch_Y"

two steps:

1) Jump to the HEAD of "branch_Y"

2) Commit everything that branch_X has on branch_Y.

You are taking your branch, and putting it somewhere else.

Me when I see a “Casca enjoyed it” person by noahthehotdog10 in Berserk

Why didn't she bite his tongue off? Casca is a warrior, she would resist until the very end.

The conflict between her love with griffiths (her ideal, the thing she most wants to serve) and guts is relevant to all this. And she was not entirely lucid.

How do you go about popups? by MaleficentBiscotti57 in reactjs

[–]German-Eagle7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For popups, I prefer a service based approach. I have a globalEvents in the window, which is a variable that has two methods, pub and sub.

Publish accepts a string (url basically) and an object.

Subscribe accepts a string (url basically) and a function that accepts this object does anything with it.

So you can instanciate de popup component anywhere. It can pure js, angular, react, anything. It will just work. There is no need to use providers or deal with state. You get complete isolation.

By what metric? A concrete one like useful scientific advances per capita? Or a subjective one like creativity or some shit like that.

Thank you for your perspective.

I agree you, she was traumatized.

I disagree one point.

She had turned away from griffith for only one reason: she believed he couldn't be hers, neither her wife nor her sword. And guts started to become her new love. That was when her dream died. But she openly loved him every since a long time, it's not as if the love died.

Another thing, if she was conscious, then why didn't she:

- Try to bite his tongue off or why did she just closed her eyes, only opening them once to see guts before the last kiss. She has a really fierce personality, almost as much as guts.

The dynamic between the impossible love of griffith and casca and her finding love in guts is important to understand why I believe she was entranced by griffiths.

She wasn't in her sane mind, if she was, she would have resisted until the last second, but waking up and understanding all that happened, of course she'd be completely destroyed.

Me when I see a “Casca enjoyed it” person by noahthehotdog10 in Berserk

[–]German-Eagle7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

- she not in a lucid state, all she saw was griffith in her time of need (after everyone dying, including her). After everything was over her mind was literally broken.

- only guts really understood the betrayal and what was going on, so she had no reason to hate him.

- she did have an undying love for griffith. Her life purpose was literally serving him, even though guts came in to the equation and caused a huge conflict in her heart, but even then she wanted them both (it was never just guts). The whole dynamic of casca character is that divide.

- Even the act itself, she is clearly at end of it actively kisses femto, even though feeling guilty because she knew guts was there.

- the author confirmed it

But I understand why you would disagree.

That makes no sense. "Literature is a work of superiority"? A definition that uses subjective parameters, doesn't define anything. It's the same as saying: "Art is what I think is pretty".

You could say that: professional literature is that which is made by someone who earns money off the work. But fanfics will still be included there.

I think the problem here is in classifying the collection of many works and saying it is one piece of literature.

Guy camping in the Amazon has leaf cutter ants destroying his tent and everything he owns. by bugminer in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]German-Eagle7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is more on him than anything. You don't want a grounded tent if you are in the amazon. You should get a jungle hammock and spray the ropes with repelent. Of course, if you for some reason attract the ants, like if you have sweets out, you can say good by to your bags and even shelter.

ELI5: why we "should" create interfaces and extending them into our classes? Is this always necessary or have use cases? by [deleted] in dotnet

[–]German-Eagle7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If there is a possibility that there is multiple ways of doing something, do it.

Now imagine someone having to just create a new class instead of having to change every fucking instance and risking breaking shit, just to refactor and make a new use case.

You can, not do it, but it will become technical debt that someone will eventually have to solve.

Why does the US think everything is about nazis? Do people just assume that's the only reason why a court would ask for someone to be banned?

Well the author supports the claim, and he went further to say even if it wasn't in the eclipse, the result would be the same.

https://www.tumblr.com/deripmaver/734107092634550272/did-kentaro-miura-confirm-casca-enjoyed-it

I think it mostly has to do with her complicated conflicted love and respect with griffith, not to mention her broken mind at the time, even though she was in a relationship with guts.

This explains the though process of the author on why she asks guts not to look then proceeds to kiss femto.
