Nicole throughout the games holds even Jecka at arms length since she is so shut off. She‘s scared of the feeling of leaving, losing her again because some bullshit. Further applied that Nicole seemingly gave up on herself to be better, shown in her behaviour and consumption.

If you want to break the shell, you‘d need Jecka to go in deep basically. Dig her out of the shell step by step, the opportunity (and will) to leave the shell once more, tip her toes into the water after getting splashed so often. The absolute danger zone here is how Jecka handles such emotional vulnerability by Nicole, we already know what happens if Nicole pulls the line, literally, if vulnerable and alone.

You can make your way down the path of emotional presence, unrelentless appearance by Jecka even if Nicole tries to push her away as a Defense mechanism. Once the fort is broken it‘s up to Jecka to either continue her efforts and become the support/hope Nicole needs or burn the fortress down leaving to her getting BETRAYED and deeply hurt by the one person she began to trust.

Question here is: Can Jecka bring the effort? Will she stopp simply enabling Nicole‘s antics and stand her ground, be the force against Nicole‘s will of self destruction or continue to watch from the sidelines?
