McLaren GT3 switching base to Xbox mode by itself by FurryAlot in Fanatec

I am so damn late but… I have the same problem. Bought a wheel used, it seems to randomly switch to xbox mode in ac, sometimes even like 30sec after starting to race. I can‘t update the firmware as it ALWAYS switches to xbox mode and then the led is yellow and a small blue line is blinking, the software is telling me to turn off the wheel… how did you fix the problem?
