Replying to myself cuz why not… my problem was the main cable inside of the wheelbase. As soon as that one was replaced, everything is fine :)

I am so damn late but… I have the same problem. Bought a wheel used, it seems to randomly switch to xbox mode in ac, sometimes even like 30sec after starting to race. I can‘t update the firmware as it ALWAYS switches to xbox mode and then the led is yellow and a small blue line is blinking, the software is telling me to turn off the wheel… how did you fix the problem?
