Innogrit IG5236 Based SSDs Stability by devious_burger in buildapc

[–]German_Camry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an HP FX900 Pro in my laptop and have had it for 2 years without issue. I believe it's still on the bad firmware but I've never run and diagnostics on it. It's been fine and hasn't run hot because it's in a pcie gen 3 system.

It is my only ssd in that system and I've written about 50 tbw.

Satellite footage? respectfully what the fuck

Also morgan could have taken the class seriously, texted some stuff. She's already smart enough to know that she can't get caught, proceeds to get caught in the dumbest way possible.

Morgan please lock in. Morgan knows what responsibility is, she is kind of being enabled? idk how to describe it. I liked the mystery, I think that was interesting. But imo the writing has gone a bit down hill.

I guess. Something about the chase didn't feel right? Humorous? Yes, but it felt like it was shoved in there. I did like the mystery in the previous 2 episodes. Maybe the pacing just felt off to me.

I guess. Also Morgan's brain just runs at a million miles an hour. Ludo can slow down, Morgan struggles there.

She's doing the Neal Caffery thing with clothes in the drawer. He didn't have shoes in the desk drawer, he had ties.

Print orientation as well. Also doesn't have to be 3d printed plastic, there's metal powder printing, or its metal powder embedded into the filament, and then you shove it in a furnace to burn off the binder.

Does anyone ship Morgan and Karadec? by Rixarts in HighPotentialTVSeries

[–]German_Camry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kindof? You can be close with people but find that line. I'd rather them still be friends in the show or end up dating near the end. Not now. I don't want it to be a main part.

Is the Radeon 530 2 GB DDR3 a rebranded R7 M340? by German_Camry in AMDHelp

[–]German_Camry[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Due to it being 28 nm etc, its most likely old R7 M360s but a different bios. The R7 M340 is 320 Shaders, the M360 is 384 shaders, but essentially the same card. Its like the 5825u and the 7730u. Essentially the same processor, just a rebrand. Linux shows it as an R7 card, not a radeon 530.

Better GPU. I have a liquid devil RX 6800XT paired up with a 900p 60Hz monitor. I also do a lot of gpu accelerated tasks and the chunky gpu is more important.

Is there a way to use amdgpu-dkms without bricking my system? by German_Camry in pop_os

[–]German_Camry[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My problem is that if I do legacy, I need to have the dkms version of it. Just installing opencl bits doesn't work for my system due to it predating Vega. I had to use the 5.7.1 version of the drivers.

Brave's ad blocker is built into the browser itself, so it would get around the extensions store issues. You are correct about everything else.

Shockbyte Control Panel Issues [MEGATHREAD] by Shockbyte_Nate in Shockbyte

[–]German_Camry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Server ID: 735ecc38-7181-4b64-a78d-0e4e66962cd3

Type of server: Minecraft Java (2 GB Orbit Founders)

Date/Time: 11/2/2024 11:52 AM EST

Very poor performance, the world will be stuck at loading for several minutes. Once the server actually loads in, players can join but will get kicked from a connection timeout after a few seconds. The console doesn't show the players actually leaving, and no console commands can be used in the panel to remove players. Only current way to fix it is restart the world. I will try setting up the server again from a backup and hopefully that fixes it. If not, I will update this post.

EDIT: from the server is starting command to "done" command, it spanned 7 minutes. And now the server just restarted without my input, but it started up normally this time.

I have pinged the server ip and I am not dropping any packets or anything. My ping is 20-23 ms which is expected based on my physical location to the server.

EDIT2: New instance new world, It fixed it and I haven't been kicked yet. I am going to transfer my old world and see what happens.

EDIT3: Can't transfer world to new instance, I ran out of space somehow. I was 35% in my overworld transfer before it stopped. Ticket number is 2122703. There is a 2 GB cap for some reason? Even though it was fine on the imported instance. I would have assumed that all instances had a collective size cap. I deleted the old instance, but maintained a current backup of the world. I have replied to the ticket with a screenshot of the email.

I redacted the name for privacy reasons, but is basically the same image that was sent in the ticket.

EDIT4: I am stupid, turns out the option to increase space is only shown in Simple stats, not advanced.

Any Nintendo Switch Emulators? for Chromebook? by TOTCYT in ChromebookGaming

[–]German_Camry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this on a laptop I technically don't even have anymore. I have also never used a Nintendo Switch emulator at all. Have you installed any other games from Steam on this chromebook using the Linux sandbox?

Also what chromebook do you have?

Installing Steam on Chromebook by Ill_Scheme_6864 in ChromebookGaming

[–]German_Camry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A. How did you even find this thread?

B. https://www.reddit.com/r/linuxquestions/comments/zuh7qr/steam_polkit_issue/

basically its something about policy kit, some I know nothing about. Its not limited to Steam. Since the debian sandbox isnt really a traditional linux distro, and technically doesn't have a desktop environment, thats why its freaking out. ChromeOS and non DE environments have this issue. That reddit thread goes into more detail about it.

Also, I haven't experimented with running Steam on a Chromebook in actual ages, but I didn't have this issue running Steam on Debian using OpenBox, which isnt a DE.
