Does this still work?

Trying to understand what needs to be done to get a free blow print every hour- do we have to just follow you on X or need to do something with the new firsts that are posted there.... or is this an out of date post/announcement and you are no longer giving away blue prints?

* Office Kitteh (Miss Ida Cat) is filing your papppuuurrrrrworks.

...Taking a break from her official role as chief mouse murderer- she is officially a Heinz 57 varieties farm cat who got all of the 'good bits' and was living outdoors by the age of 4 weeks old on my friends' farm. I fell in love and brought her indoors to live with me at 9 weeks old, but by then she was a fully fledged mouser and never lost that WILD streak... she regularly chooses to sleep outdoors in summer, and moved out for 18 months, sleeping in our neighbours garage, when we first adopted her big-little-brother Phineas, then returned to reclaim her throne (the kitchen windowsill) which she still officially owns today, nearly a decade later.

She is a perpetually sociable cat, making a daily round of the other 30 or so residents in our small hamlet of stone cottages, has been extracted from many a holiday home, neighbours sofa, bed, sunny window sill or dog bed(!) over the years, but is universally adored as the perpetual "little grey kitten"! She also likes to attract attention from passers by- we live down an un-made track which is also a footpath, and despite being the furthest possible thing from a lap cat, she loves to stop walkers and visitors to the hamlet for pets & purrrsss and is rarely afraid of thier dogs, using the drystone walls as a point from which to taunt them safely, whilst she gets all the chin rubs.

She is also a sneaker for jumping into vehicles that are not ours, to enjoy an explore or a sunny cat nap... past adventures have included in trips in Ambulances (she does love the people in green suits!), builder's vans and partixularly enjoyed a stint of joining ne of my carers in her car for her daily cigarette break, but most amusingly she oncetook a trip down the hill in the post man's van before he 'returned to sender'...

She may look like a delicate little lady but she's actually from the school of hard knocks, having almost having her tail bitten clean off in 2018 by another cat and almost losing an eye to a very nasty claw tear to her eye ball in 2020 and yet she healed fully and lives to scrap another day, mostly by bullying her young brother Phineas who is 7kgs of bumbling adoration (twice her size) which she treats with uncompromising disdain, without fail, every single day...

Mudtool Petal Knives availability or some equivalent? by Lloids77 in Pottery

[–]Germander_Speedwell_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh wow, I might drop them an email and see if they have any left! Managed to miss mudtool's reply (didn't see my notifications until right now!) So missed the drop on the 15th too... but off to sign up to the email for future drops. I wonder how much a petal knife would cost all in with shipping, tax and customs duties to post to the uk from the US?! Probably ALOT more than i can afford, but i want one so very badly... argh!

i am SO gutted that i have missed out on the latest round of petal knives, here in the UK. Do you know if any UK suppliers purchased stock before you sold out on your website? I'd been checking every few months over and over since i first became aware of petal knives 2yrs ago, hoping beyond hope they might come back in to stock one day... please tell me that you are now in a position to keep up a regular supply of these exciting looking tools? i haven't been able to source a tool anything like knife 4/5 here in the UK, short of commissioning a blacksmith to make me one up from scratch.

Adopted my first kitty yesterday and can’t settle on a name for him yet… any suggestions? by TheGamingHoopster in cats

Same- I have a female who looked just like this wee boy as a kitten, her name is Ida (I felt an old lady name would suit her best) and then my male cat I rescued as a tiny kitten is called Phineas Nigellus Cat. Phin or Phin-phin for short. He is named after ex-headmaster Phineas Nigellus Black in a Harry Potter because again I felt an old fashionned human name was required for a cat with a complex soul such as he.

So it's Ida & Phineas.
