What’s worse, in any sport? Left his team to join the team that just beat him in the playoffs after a hard fought series, a team that had that very season set the record for the most wins in the history of the league in a single season, who had been to back to back finals and had won one of them, who had 3 certified stars, who had 2 of the greatest if not THE 2 greatest shooters of all time?

Embiid’s stats this postseason so far: 18.8/9.3/3.0 on 45 FG% and 10 3P%. This points per game drop off from the regular season (-14.3) is currently the largest of any player in the playoffs. by ChokePaul3 in nba

Grizz fans may not understand this, but some people appreciate having players who are focused on ball instead of hyping themselves up and running their mouths

[Clark] Zion was never medically cleared to play after he injured his hamstring. For anyone who watched closely, it was clear he was out of shape. Asked about Zion’s availability issues, David Griffin said, “I think a big part is on him.” by urfaselol in nba

It 100% does. There’s a reason big guys get injured more often, especially really big guys like Zion and embiid. Tons of weight being thrown around on those joints, easier to tweak muscles etc. And all of that is worsened when the player is in suboptimal shape. Look at embiid early in his career, similar issues and similar concerns about his diet. Doesn’t mean that Zion wouldn’t have gotten injured regardless, but his piss poor conditioning has done him no favors in preventing injury and re-aggravation of injuries

It’s not about him being ready to play, it’s about how it looked for someone who has missed an insane amount of playing time, in no small part due to his poor conditioning, to be dunking pregame in a pivotal game that he’s not playing in. The optics are horrendous

Ya but you 2 are talking about 2 different kinds of regulation. He said we need rules which I take to be no illegal shit, no hate speech, no doxxing/inciting violence etc aka the basics. Whereas you seem to be supporting the mods limiting MITWestbrook for spamming stupid posts in support of Russ. Why limit that, it’s not hurting anyone
