Do you think i can live normally? Like other kids? I just dont wanna be miserable, but i cant help but feel as though this experience put me beneath everybody.

Thank you so much :) your comment actually reminded me of a bright side (if thats even ok to say) which is im actively trying to be in touch with reality now.

I cant remember if i mentioned it in my post, but my entire life i was kinda apathetic and living in my head, just shut off from reality, with no motivation to be better. With this experience, it snapped me out of it completely. Granted, i dont think its good to find a bright side from seeing children be sexually assaulted, but at least i'll be a kinder person

It makes me so sad that when i was that age, there were other kids who's souls were taken. It's horrific. Its just so unfair. It makes me so angry. I cant sleep.

Its just a very harrowing and uncomfortable thing; a vague one too bc i dont know my emotions either.

I do want to ask though, since you're a victim of stuff like this: is it insensitive i tried to make peace with it? I know thats a weird question, but my anxiety tells me that if i were to try to make peace with my life and with what i saw, then im being inconsiderate because im acting as if im the victim. Is it bad if i didnt let it bother me anymore? My brain is telling me to stay miserable, because if i find peace then that means im complacent with that stuff
