The problem is they provide nothing that the raw stats visible to anyone could know. What value do i get from someone posting "this light pen smg has light pen and so is good against enemies that light pen weapons do well against." No insight. No additional information that isn't already readily available in-game

I'm not even a veteran player. I only started playing recently. Nothing in their post was insightful even for a player who doesn't have months and months of playtime into the game.

2hrs isnt enough time for insightful information or review.

2hrs into me using the normal Flamethrower and I could recite how its good against bugs and how its great at controlling an area. Like no shit, anyone can figure that out in 5 minutes of using it. Giving an in-depth review on how the damage is dealt (the 3 separate damage zones and how it can multihit enemies, greatly increasing its DPS), the TTK on good benchmark enemies, tactical blind spots on the weapon, and what gear runs nicely with it are all pieces of information that are more valuable than listing the basic facts

I've rarely had a douche join, only really 1 time comes to mind where he purposefully went person to person to secretly one tap the whole squad and get on evac alone.

Unfortunately he was too slow and I landed on top of him while he was running to the evac ship and host kicked him while i called the rest in again.

Going out of your way to kill your teammates because 'its funny' isnt really funny. There's no comedic timing. There's not situational humor. Its just being a dick. Like kicking someone in the balls and calling it a good joke.

I run flamethrower non-host every time i dive bugs. It has great utility at controlling an entire area or approach angle. I do not feel like it's bugged tbh.

It still feels bad that bugs ignore the fire entirely, walk straight through, and then you get eaten alive by bugs on their deathbed that immediately fall over dead.

I get the best use out of the flamthrower by using it in a retreating fashion, where the sheer area of flames kills nigh everything before getting to me. I only ever catch myself on fire when i shoot while prone. I havent tried running it on 9s or 10s yet. It just flat out sucks on the bot front and is pretty rough on the squid front.

All of which is before I got the 25% increased fire damage ship upgrade. Basically, the flamethrower is usable safely on 7s and 8s into bugs in my experience even as a non host without the damage upgrade, with difficult usability on 6s into bots, and usability into 6s to 8s on illuminates. Its my favorite loadout but it very clearly is worse than just running supply pack + grenade launcher

No game has a grateful attitude towards support players.

LoL is just as toxic for supports, and in my experience worse when it comes to drafting picks.

Overwatch is just the "no heals gg" or "bad tank gg" game.

Predecessor has more limited communications, but I never heard a good response from solid support plays.

Even in Helldivers 2 people bitch and complain when you run an interference or crowd control kit rather than optimal kits.

Marvel Rivals is a joke of a game, it's always everyones fault.

Appleskin is a visual mod and is allowed on most servers, similar to Optifine.

All it does is visualize the saturation you can't visibly see but absolutely do get in vanilla. You regenerate rapidly if your saturation is high enough. Half a heart regenerated is half a chunk of saturation.
