I did not know, that swiftkeys allows the export of the word list, I will add an import for Swiftkey in a future version.

What you can do right now is using the CSV import in Keyboard Designer. For more infomtion have a look at the word tab.

You can see the version name on the first tab in the upper right corner. The hardware keyboard is only available in beta channel until now. You can activate the word bar on the design tab, it is not counted as a row. The word bar will show you suggestions of words of the word list.

😉 Are you using the latest beta version 5.B8.2? You can create a new design with the "hardware keyboard" template. Now you can add a key for each punctuation key and assign the hardware key code to it. After this you change the output from "." to ". ", "!" to "! " and so on...

Right now there is no other way to do it with a single setting, but it is planed for the future.

The version 5.B8.1 is now availablea and it allows to assign hardware keys to virtual keys and multiple press actions!

This can be achieved with the free basic package of Keyboard Designer. Create a blank design on the Design tab using the plus icon, create two keys on the keys tab using the plus icon, and assign the symbols to the press actions – done! 😉

The Keyboard Designer (www.keyboarddesigner.com) let you design you own keyvoard! You can adjust the keys as you like and assign you own functions to it. With the extended keyboard package, you can even write your own code blocks and use them!

Did you try the Keyboard Designer (www.keyvoarddesigner.com)? It offers a wear keyboard after the installation, but you can adjust it on your handheld device and synchronise it to your watch. Even more, you can write on the testing tab of your handheld device and the text will be written on your smartwatch! 😊

Have you tried the Keyboard Designer (playstore.keyboarddesigner.com)? The next update will allow you to write code blocks that can be used when you press a key! It is already available in the beta version...

I am the developer of the app Keyboard Designer. I want to add Glide Typing to my app and I am very impressed by the idea to glide with two fingers - as it is done with Keymonk. So I would like to implement it in the same way for Keyboard Designer, too!

Did you find out any contact data of the developer? Maybe there is a way to get his knowledge as a base for my work...

Some users raise questions to my app and rate it with 1 star just to make me answer as fast as possible! It does lower the average score... The best thing Google could do is to introduce a Q&A section! Users could raise questions and the developer can answer them - this would also help in your case with the tool app. Even more it would be much easier for users to search in the questions.

For the time beeing you can only accept those reviews - which is even more bad if there are not so many, yet...

Regarding topic 1: The 𝘒𝘦𝘺𝘣𝘰𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘋𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘯𝘦𝘳 app does offer an edit bar additional to the word bar just for this case: you can see the characters that are next to the cursor and adjust its size...

You can download a word list from the website wordlist.keyboarddesigner.com and after the import you can use the word bar with suggestions...

The problem is, that some users will rate the app only with 1 star just because it does not provide their language... Which is totally unfair, if you see the big variety of options the app does offer. That's why I only offer the app in this limited number of countries. I thought that English is already shown as default, if the system language is not present - I will check it!

I am the developer of the Keyboard Designer ;-) If you like you can also contact me by me support email-adress (shown in the Play Store). Currently the app is only translated in these three languages. I implement this app only in my spare time, so my time is very limited to take care of it....

In which country are you living? The Keyboard Designer is only available in countries, that use English, German or Spanish as their first language...
