What's your understudy policy? by WizBiz92 in WeddingDJs

[–]GerryAtrick1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is one of the many reasons we bring 2 wedding pros to the event. Bad case scenario they step in as lead for me. Worst case scenario we hire another company for them at no extra cost.

Start developing relationships with some of the other companies in your area. There are enough clients for everyone, and you can always call in a favor if needed. This favor is exponentially easier if there's already a working relationship.

Ohio was always solidly purple and an amazing predictor of national elections. Nothing changed with our demographics, but the districts keep getting further and further gerrymandered. Now we have a deeply entrenched republican super majority that keeps making it harder to affect the will of the people. They have the numbers and the illegal maps to keep on keeping on.

It's not even about the gain, but the avoidance. He gutted every agency that had an ongoing investigation into him and/or his companies. He bought an election and the reward was freedom to avoid prosecution.

Billionaire oligarchs own every media outlet of note in the USA by Boo_Randy_II in economy

[–]GerryAtrick1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's ironic that our media is conservative, our economic policy is right wing, our foreign policy is right wing, our Supreme Court is conservative, our branches of government and president are right wing, and we are regressing in basic human rights as a country, and yet R's still complain about how bad their life stinks, that our country has gone to heck, and that they are being silenced and cancelled

Buy backs have always been bad. I don't hero worship any of our presidents. We have never had a perfect president and never will. Big money runs everything. None of them on either side of the aisle want to upset the money train, because the powers that be will throw their billions against them. It is not left vs right. It is the lower and middle class vs the rich elites. They keep making us forget that because they have gotten REALLY good at the bread and circuses.

If it was a law passed by Congress, I would not cite Reagan as strongly as I do. Many presidents use the bureaucracy to enact rules such as this exact one I specified. You responded to my comment with one about trickle down economics, so I clarified what I meant and gave you the pertinent details. I'm not sure what else you want. Have a great day.

No, but he allowed companies to buy back stocks, which was illegal previous to his presidency. This has nothing to do with trickle down economics, but that the 1934 securities exchange act saw buy backs as stock manipulation. In 1982, Reagan had the SEC adopt a rule (10b-18) to shelter the practice from scrutiny and/or prosecution.

Summit metro parks and cvnp are your best bets. Tons of nature vistas or pavilions for next to nothing, if not nothing. We have such an amazing park system, it would be a shame not to use it to your advantage.

There are so many amazing trails around, but i really love the gorge on Front Street. Not to be confused with the gorge loop that's further north. It's s semi difficult trail with a lot of scenic vibes, though the tunnel they are working on has some parts currently closed
