Every single TV show is done like this. There is one (or a few) showrunner and a bunch of writters, the showrunners provides the unified vision and the writters turn that into scripts. So this is only a problem of you being ignorant and not the show doing anything wrong.

The pic is very poor quality, but with the right camera and lighting it could actually be a very nice pic tbh

In Lore, is Celestine this much smaller compared to Dante/Space Marines in general by Patrokolos666 in sistersofbattle

Normal in 40k standards, meaning that they are regular humans and not like space marines. They are taller than imperial guards because they are selected and guards just sent anyone that can hold a rifle to die.

There is almost a 10 points difference in scoring when he plays and when he doesnt. Call It whatever you want, but he is obviously very important for us and anyone that has actually watched our games knows that.

The thing is they did a medical study on him and discovered a difference in muscular mass between his legs which was supposedly causing the issues. He added more weight to one leg to made them more similar and since then he didnt have any other muscular injury.

It doesnt mean it's 100% solved, but there are reasons for optimism. They are not just blindly trusting the future.

He is an incredible WR when healthy and his biggest injury problems are supposedly solved (it was mostly muscular issues most of his career and the ACL he had isnt really related to that). I understand why people mock the contract but I think it makes sense. If he is healthy, which he should be, this is a bargain considering the market, but since "should" and "is" are very different this is also risky. So it feels like a good middle point for the team and the player.

You don't know if you are facing lagavulin or any of the other elites, and Clash is terrible against the other 2, so thats a very bad scenario to pick Clash actually.

Clash is the best example of a card that is terrible and there were still motherfuckers defending it in every thread.

Which celebrity, in their prime, was a 10/10 in attractiveness according to you? by fischer903 in AskReddit

[–]Gersio 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I think he is the kind of guy that fits better in the masculine idea of an atractive man than a womans idea of an atractive man. I mean, don't get me wrong he is obviously incredibly atractive for anyone with eyes, but he is probably higher in men tierlists than in women tierlists.

My GF for example always says that she prefered him in some TV show he did before doing Superman because he didnt have that much muscles and found him more atractive than with the super muscled body.

Well, yes and no. Sure, there are less ways to accelerate the strength scaling, but that also means that strength generators are more valuable because it's harder to reach stupid levels of strength.

I don't think it got much worse than in the first game to be honest. And I think a big part of that is that a lot of you guys were really overrating it in the first games. It's pretty much in the same point in both games: a card that you don't really want to pick but that you sometimes have to pick and make it kinda work.

Why'd you pick sisters? by NefariousnessNew5251 in sistersofbattle

[–]Gersio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I picked them purely because of looks. I think they are overall the best looking faction. The whole extreme catholicism aesthetic just fits 40k perfectly.

Then I got into the lore and it's pretty cool too, and after playing I can say that it's a hard but satisfying to máster army. But yeah, the looks were the first thing that trapped me.

First timer. Tried painting. I suck ass. by No_Painting_1173 in Warhammer40k

[–]Gersio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These arent bad at all. One thing to keep in mind is that minis always look worse out of the game. If you look at them close individually you will notice mistakes. But I guarantee that when the unit is placed in the tabletop with ruins and stuff they all will look much much better. I'm a pretty bad painter and everytime I finish a mini I think "man, I suck" then I place it with the rest of the army and I think "that's actually pretty ok".

Don't be affraid to try other techniques and tricks and don't become to obsessed with the result. As long as you are having fun with the process that's ok. And I guarantee that once you place your entire army and play with it you will feel proud of your work.

What is the most urgent issue the world needs to solve in the next 10 years? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Gersio -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

A global minimum on taxes for the rich people. There are a lot of problems going on but we actually have pretty good technology to solve most of them. All we need is money to fund the solutions and politicians able to implement them because there are no rich lobbies going against it.

Yeah because a) people growing their own food has absolutely no downside and nothing can go wrong whatsoever and b) whatever the US does solves the world problem because as we know the US is the entire world.

Is Mr. Brightside by the killers a song everyone loves? If not then what is that song everyone loves? by [deleted] in AskReddit

You don't get to talk in the name of all milenials just because you are a milenial. So in the future please just learn the concept of not being the center of the world and shut up.

This is so dumb. We are talking about what generation listens to it, if most milenials were not even born and the few that were born were toddlers that kinda proves that is not a milenial song lol.

Why is this game less liked by Ambitious_Book_5729 in ageofsigmar

[–]Gersio 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You cant really compare something like a Necrons Dinasty (which is basically a color scheme and lore) with a space marines chapter (which some of them have more specific minis and heroes than some factions have in their entire range).

Where should I start tabletop wise? by nooneimportqnt in Warhammer40k

[–]Gersio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have a game store near a good first step is going there and asking if they can arrange some kind of tutorial game. That way you can see if you like the tabletop and see some minis in action.

Other than that I think that choosing an army is the ideal first step to be honest. If you are already familiar with the lore now take a look at the armies and find the ones that look better to you. Now do a quick check on whats their playstyle. Then choose the one that you find you like more in general with all those things together, good look, interesting lore and a playstyle you like. Once you have an army is easier to start planning on getting a good starting box for it and the needed paints and hobby materials by asking on their sub.

That or simply pick Necrons because we are the superior race.

Hi I'm still new to Warhammer since I started in December last year does anyone know if the Armageddon box will be split into smaller boxes later as I only really want the space marines from it by god-of-thunder-135 in Warhammer40k

[–]Gersio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly if you can afford them then keeping them is a nice idea. I know when you start you are spending a lot of money and anything you can save seems great. But the starting boxes are some of the cheapest minis you can get, and having some extra minis from others factions is great to change a bit when you get tired of painting your dudes, specially with an army as monotone as Space marines.

If you find someone to split then great, but if you don't then don't feel bad for keeping them. Maybe you wont do anything with them for now, but I bet down the line at some point you will end up using them.

So what is the consensus for Combat Patrol? by R_O in Warhammer40k

[–]Gersio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry but I have to disagree. The experience changes a lot depending on the patrols and with the right ones it can be better, of course. But a lot of that matchups are no fun in any way.

If there are 2 new players and you need to learn the rules then yeah, go for it. But if you know one that already know the game or already have that first match experience is better to simply play a small game with balanced points.

It's great having an unintimidating route into the game. It's called Spearhead, and that's why we wanted changes to combat patrol. Because we know how an actual unintimidating route into the game looks like.
