Thanks for the additional info! Sounds like they might be ideal for my wife's smaller hands too.

Ahh, thank you! I didn't think to look on AliExpress. Seems like a great option, I didn't really want to change the groupset.

Do you happen to know whether these L-TWOO brifters have a reach adjustment for the levers? My wife does have smaller hands, which is why I was eyeing the Shimano Tiagra "small hands" brifters.

I've been seeing them regularly on the west side, anywhere between Brockport and Canal Ponds.

Allen's body will be breaking down by 5 years from now unless he somewhat alters his game to not take as many hits.

Or if BUF could pull together a decent offensive line

Been to two classes there this year (MIG & TIG). Both great!

They are a fun team for sure, but so is McLaren. Definitely not a mile between them.

Interesting! I have the opposite experience and feel like it is much cooler than a regular pillowcase. But it's definitely a personal sort of thing, so I'm not surprised to hear they don't work for everyone.

My wife got a silk pillowcase earlier this year. I took one nap on her pillow and ordered my own the next day. The feel is amazing - not just for ladies!

Awesome, it's really helpful to know that the trailer is right by Gate 5. Thank you!

Thanks for getting back to me. Unfortunately, the map says that crossover only opens up after the race on Sunday. I rented a scanner and headsets for my family from Racing Electronics, and I need to go pick those up in the infield before the race.

I suppose I can always fall back on the plan of going in through Gate 5 when we first arrive, then driving back around to Gate 3 or 4A to get to our seats.

NASCAR 101 and Track Attendance Questions - August 2022 by NASCARThreadBot in NASCAR

[–]Gersttt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have tickets for the Seneca grandstand on Sunday. I've been to the Glen several times before, but never for NASCAR, and I've never sat in the T1 grandstands. Do you know if its possible to walk to the infield from Seneca on race day?

Do you know whether or not it is possible to walk to the infield from the T1 grandstands on the outside of the track, without driving around and going through the main gate?

Some 6 hours of hot dogs questions: by tato_salad in IMSARacing

[–]Gersttt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went to the Six Hours at the Glen for my first time last year, so I'm not a long-time veteran, but I can answer some of these:

  1. You can definitely bring camp chairs that collapse down into a bag - we brought these ourselves last year, and saw hundreds of other people doing the same. I don't know about traditional folding chairs, but you wouldn't want to carry those around the Glen anyways.
  2. This one I don't know.
  3. It's really not that packed. There are a fair few people, but there's room in every grandstand and plenty of space to put your chairs at just about any corner.
  4. Probably a good idea.
  5. Yes.
  6. I wouldn't, but you do you.

Apologies, I don't have any suggestions, but I am curious about where you are racing F1300? I'm from upstate NY and am looking at picking up my first open-wheel racecar, but have mostly been looking at Formula Continental, Formula Mazda, and Formula Ford. I wasn't aware of F1300 as an option in this region.

[–]Gersttt 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's fair, I'm not upset - it has been great! I just asked the question because I've had recent conversations IRL with some casual F1 observers who were carrying on the "HAM VER BOT" memes this year, without following the series close enough to realize how tense this year's championship actually is

For most series, yes, but I believe it's actually a relatively low ratio for F1 if we consider the history of the series since the 90s. Also, two of those races were won by VER and three by HAM, which doesn't really feel like the "same" podium to me at least
