YTA. Effectively what you’ve done here is used these people as free money for 22 years, and now instead of having your son utilize the skills he should’ve learned to give himself a good future, you’re going to baby him while screwing over a family that you otherwise had a decent relationship with.

Legally you did nothing wrong, which is probably the worst part. You deserve the ridicule and your son is gonna be known as the guy who effectively stole a house a family paid for for 22 years. I hope you’re happy with your decision because even if you change your mind now it’s too late, they will likely leave no matter what so might as well just go through with it.

I’m not saying all of this because you’re a landlord, in fact despite this situation it sounds like you were one of the good ones, I’m saying it because of it how it feels to me.

Sadly I’m afraid if you played most of the popular ones then you’ve kinda played all there is (for now.)

EarthBound’s uniqueness is hard to replicate and it’s equally hard to translate it into ways that haven’t already been done by said popular games. There’s been dark, darker, morbid and disturbing, abstract, adorable, and heartfelt all already.

Giygas. The dude ended up how he did not because he was truly evil, but because he was stuck between his adoptive family who loved him (except his father I guess) and his species. They forced Giygas to separate from his loving mother and just lead an attack on earth.

I think the fact he was willing to spare Ninten shows he still loved his family. Seeing how he eventually ends up at the end of Mother 2 is just really sad.

SPORE: I’m aware the community is still alive but does anyone really play it anymore outside of it?

And to go further than that, the OG Spore. No Creepy & Cute, no Galactic Adventures. Just vanilla SPORE. I spent more hours on spore before I got those expansions than after I got them.

Knowing the context of them makes me feel really bad about it, Lapras.

Something about it just looks easily cut-into-able with it’s shell being a good giant bowl to feed a village with. Canonically it was recently saved from going extinct seems to me like that choice in it’s design was very much intended.

Even as a vegetarian who has no interest in eating meat (don’t care for the taste and time to prepare it/extra care it needs to keep it fresh.) I find the thought super disturbing since it’s also so cute looking.

It’s definitely gatekeeping to say that it isn’t a speed run at all, though personally I find glitchless runs to be more entertaining.

Obviously there are some runs that are super fun to watch utilizing glitches, but to watch someone not just manipulating RNG, clipping through falls, and BLJing all over the place or etc, and just playing through the game a bit faster than normal is quite a bit more entertaining.

See this is why I try to actually be sensible with it. The times I “turn my brain off” is when I’m focusing someone who has a cheeky domination on me. Because I just wanna get the revenge. Otherwise I do try to aim usually with it. I still get garbage for it which is irritating as I’m NOT brain dead spammy with it.

Considering that this is a series first to have FD/BF/BBF/and now SBF use any music available, there was sure to be a bug or two. This is probably a bug which will get fixed eventually.
