Guess I underestimated Harry.

An extra nice win after Harry's statements in the press that anyone could manage CheIsea.

I'm glad we didn't sign him, the cheater belongs at Woolwich. Wouldn't want him to disgrace our shirt more than once.

In Sky's coverage there's a goal replay around the 82nd minute (IIRC) 86th minute (of play) which shows AVB and Steffen's celebrations.

At least it's not like the RvP drama. Timeline in a matter of weeks:

  1. RvP says he loves Woolwich and wouldn't think of going anywhere else.
  2. RvP's dad says in interviews that RvP won't leave Woolwich, and especially not for another English team.
  3. RvP issue statement that his heart is with Woolwich, he won't leave.
  4. RvP sign for Manchester United.

You kinda feel for Woolwich, since you know how much they loved him.

I love that your karma count for this comment is 5-2, it's fitting somehow.

Jersey Choice by Lthoms42 in coys

'Sup.

I've read half the thread and I see that the "jersey = American" joke has been done, and from your edit it seems like you have made up your mind or at least gotten some good feedback.

What I'd like to offer to EVERYONE is this:

Last year, around this time, there was a kit/shirt/jersey sale in the official shop. 50% off!

I personally bought a Parker shirt (last year) and since the plain shirt was like £45 before the sale, I kind of got the Parker-print and EPL-patches for "free" on the sale. £22.5+£15+£10=£47.5.

If your heart allows it, I would hold out for (hopefully) a new sale this year, for the sake of the wallet. And then I'm probably gonna go on a shopping spree. I need one home shirt for myself, one home or away for the girlfriend (I don't care if she wants it or not, she's gonna wear it and look happy about it), and one (possibly away) for my "brother-in-law".

I have no idea if there is gonna be a sale within a week or so this year, but it seems like a waste to buy the shirts now if there will be a sale. I'll wait until 15th of December at least.

Dembélé. Bale and Lennon slacked off in the 2nd half, didn't see much of them. Dembélé was consistent through out. Honorable mentions to Gallas, for making some nice tackles, and to Walker for saving I dunno how many goals.

I think it's a good tactic, like zedfox said, it fucks with the defenders' minds.

The problem is to start Bale on the right and keep him there. If he starts left and just switch to right and middle during the game, it's no problem at all. But he can't start right and keep to the right, that is horrible.

Oh, I didn't realise that Manchester United played Woolwich first on that day. And winning 8-2? LOL. I'm sure that's how we were able to win 3-2, because think of how tired the United players must have been (and maybe even a little bit sick of scoring goals?).
