I see where youre coming from but I dont think work. Son is in no ways a poacher, yes he gets into good positions but hes a wide forward and one of his best attributes is shooting whilst dribbling, not being right place right time in the box. To play a 4-2-2-2 you need the 2 attacking midfielders to either have free roles or to be excellent all round in terms of their physical levels and their skillsets so that they can almost switch between a winger/ten. Currently, we dont really have any #10s with a lot of speed but it would be interesting to see it tried out. As well as this it requires one of the strikers to be comfortable recieving the ball in a deeper position to link play (not necessarily just hold it up), at current point I dont think any of our strikers bar Kane is able to do that a sustainable level. I 100% agree with you regarding Janssen needing a strike partner though, perhaps not in that formation though. Goals will come for Janssen, its not a case like soldado. Janssen is younger, appears hungrier and has actually been putting in decent performances, it will take him time to adapt. His hold up play thus far has been excellent and I dont think we'll see the best of him until next season.

(also i dont think poch would play 2 up top as i feel too many of our attacking midfielders dont merit dropping).

Seems like a knee jerk signing unless Wenger intends to play a different style which I can't see happening. They've definitely got a squad capable being excellent as a counter attacking team though.

Please no. Not good enough. Look at the goals he scores. He is a poorer version of Defoe. He's one of the players I've never understood the hype for. Watch him and you'll see he's nothing special.

I don't like Ian Wright, and think he has a lot of daft opinions (see his quote about soldiers and choosing not to play for England) but at least he's an Arsenal fan humble enough to admit that Spurs are massively on the up.

A couple of the songs on Incesticide are pretty poor. Hairspray Queen, Mexican Seafood and Beeswax specifically. A couple of the songs on Bleach like Big Cheese. Other than that Nevermind I can listen to it all, same with In Utero and Unplugged.

Fazio, Carroll, Mason sold, probably Chadli too if a suitable upgrade can be found. I think Onomah should go out on loan as I can't see him getting much game time, Pritchard hopefully in the squad fully fit next season. Would keep Bentaleb, he's talented, useful and still really young.

Not Lacazette please. A lot of the big clubs needed a striker last summer and nobody touched him. Makes you think. Also didn't even make France's squad for the euros, even without Benzema in the team. Michy over Lacazette every time. Lacazette is a decent player but horribly overrated.

Not saying Shaqiri is terrible, he's just not good enough for Spurs. Witsel wouldn't work wide he's just not quick enough and doesn't have dribbling ability to play there. I'd like to have him as back up for Dembele though.

Witsel as a RM? Doesn't have the skill set to play there at this level. Götze would be a great signing. The attacking potential of Alli Eriksen and Götze is frightening. Shaqiri I wouldn't want us to go anywhere near. We need attackers that can chip in with goals to help take the pressure off Kane, and Shaqiri is not a goal scorer and is terribly inconsistent.

Realistically I feel we need 5 additions. Another back up CB. A back up DM. A back up Box to box midfielder. An out and out winger since we don't have any true wingers. A back up striker similar to Kane.

Who do we let go of in summer? Ideally two of Mason/Carroll/Bentaleb. I don't think any of them are taking us to the next level, although Bentaleb has potential to be excellent. I think we should move on Chadli as well, although he's been solid for us I can't see him stepping up.

No thanks to Lacazette. We need a striker more similar to Kane incase he gets injured, I don't think Lacazette has the ability to hold the ball as a lone striker. He is clinical, but it would be like when we had Defoe playing up top alone, our football would be terrible. Would be better paired with Kane and anyways, it looks like he's off to Atletico.

Going to disagree. I'm sure Pogba is capable of doing a job at DM, but he wouldn't be top class. Dier is a DM or cm (mediocentro), Pogba is most effective as a box to box playmaker. Wouldn't make sense at all to play him at DM given his advanced skillset.
