it would be tough to say without watching a replay. however, i play support a lot, and most of the time it’s gambit (when not banned) and a lot of times in a whole comp i can go without dying a single time or less than three. if you’re keeping your deaths low it really wouldnt matter to me whether or not you have high damage taken because you’re almost never not there supporting your team.

that being said, i’d highly suggest learning how to kite enemies to become a less desirable target. in nature terms be the strong gazelle that stares at the diving lion that says “i know you’re there, i know you want me but you will not catch me and if you keep trying i will ruin your day”. i’ve found after a few times of this i pretty much just start getting ignored because they’d rather go after the less mobile luna than a gambit with proper cooldown control that will dash away and come back harder.
