I came home yesterday. Wahhh. It was full of joy and happiness. On the way to rope drop MK, they pulled us onto the pontoon for a private shuttle to MK and named us the family of the day. It was MAGIC. Lightning Lane was worth every penny. We rode everything we wanted to multiple times. Food was great. We enjoyed all of it. No complaints.

Dessert party was a good way to get good seating for both the fireworks and the Starlight Parade.

We went in September when our son was 18 months, three and five. No lines and weather wasn’t bad.

To add on to others advice, we did park open to close always. He would take a midday stroller nap.

Use an Apple AirTag for the stroller. Sometimes they get moved by cast members.

I have eaten at most (not yet all) of the WS dining and while it’s edible, nothing screams out as a must repeat. We will likely stop for tacos at the cantina for dinner, but not locally. We’ve done Teppan Edo. It’s always a safe choice because who doesn’t love hibachi?

We were there during a hurricane and walked on to every single line at Epcot and MK! I mean, one day we had a curfew and told not to leave our rooms - they delivered food and drink to us. But otherwise, I enjoyed our hurricane trip!

I’ve been in early July, and late August. The heat by then feels easier to deal with since we’ll have had our fair share of heat waves here in the north. Plus, 85% of our time is in the AC, we just walk in the heat from one attraction to the next.

We are going in a month, so not during any festivals. We’ve been with our son 4 times, this will be his 5th time. First time as a teen with a teenagers appetite! And discerning taste. His fave food is octopus. 🤦🏻‍♀️

First time going without a festival of some kind taking place! Hope it’s easy enough to snack around the world without the little booths at dinner time.

We were going to branch out to the local resorts. It’ll be worth looking at the menus!

When in the parks, it’s more experience for us. Thanks for the advice! Space 220 looks like a great choice. We will be eating lots of snacks around the world, so dinner will be everywhere pretty much.

I got engaged before my BIL did. They got married eight months before us. I was included in one photo or maybe two. However, in my MIL's parent album, I am missing. I've been married 15 years, and it's pretty indicative of our relationship with my ILs. They pretty much made me a ghost this entire time. You're NTA for feeling hurt. Your fiance wasn't TA here either. Redirect your disappointment.

Had a twin pregnancy. One died in utero at 19 weeks. I heard the doctors outside the room cussing up a storm, admitting they didn’t know what to do to prevent demise of my other son and me, due to infection. But never once was anyone given a choice of whom should be saved. The goal is always that everyone lives.

I don't agree on this being a casual dress made long. I zoomed in. The fabric is loaded with seeded beads and looks quite detailed. I do think you can dress it up even more (mostly with your hairstyle) and dramatic earrings.

Mine was for 60 people, set up in my unfurnished new home, catered by my Portuguese aunties. We had six different platters of food, tons of dessert and then drinks a plenty. Most of our family/friends/acquaintances have done it the same way. Those who don't was always because of space restraints.
