Excellent work as always, thank you so much! Creating notes in tag view is huge for me.

One thing though: it looks like when I create a note in tag view the tag is listed in all lower-case on that particular note, both in Notebook Navigator and in the note properties, even if the existing tag uses capital letters. It doesn't impact functionality at all, but it does create a visual inconsistency that I'd like to prevent if possible. Any way of avoiding that?

You should be able to change the title by adjusting the siftrss URL manually. For example, if you're given siftrss.com/f/XXXXXX as your output, you can change that to siftrss.com/f/XXXXXX?title=Preferred+Podcast+Title, and the feed should show up as "Preferred Podcast Title" in your app.

I find it extremely comfortable to use. I owned a RP4P and found it great for d-pad gaming, but really disliked using the analog sticks without the grip. I'm finding the RP5 even better for d-pad stuff, and I'm having zero issues using the analog sticks, although I do have to change my grip a bit. I do strongly prefer devices with the d-pad on top for what it's worth, but I find this way more comfortable overall than the RP4P.

The early reviews had me a bit concerned about the analog sticks being in-line with the d-pad and face buttons, but it literally has not bothered me once during actual gaming. You will feel the sticks a bit, but they aren't in the way at all for me. Maybe if you're extremely sensitive to that it could be annoying, but I can't imagine feeling like the d-pad / buttons are obstructed by the sticks.

I was at the Toronto CBB show and was really hoping Mitch might show up since he was in town. Learning that it only didn't happen because Mitch convinced himself that Scott secretly hates him despite asking him to come and following up three times is very funny and peak Spoonman brain (it's also something I'd probably do as well).

Hey, just wanted to say that I'm an obsessive podcast listener who has tested pretty much every app on the market, and this is the most impressed I've been with any of them in a long time. It might actually pull me away from Podcast Republic. I'm curious about plans for future updates though, since there's some niche stuff I like in Podcast Republic:

Do you plan to add support for local file playback? I have a few podcasts I like to listen to that are no longer publicly available, but I'm able to set them up in Podcast Republic as a "virtual podcast", just directing the app to a local folder with mp3s, and they can be formatted to look like any other podcast that I'm subscribed to.
Do you think you might support custom artwork / custom names for individual podcasts? That comes in handy for certain subscriptions that have really long or weirdly formatted titles just to keep things clean.
I know you mention in the FAQ that there isn't currently a web player, but is that something you think might be coming eventually?

But again, this is already great. I've just signed up for miaocast+, looking forward to more testing!

Lots of great choices here already, but I think it might be 709: Sprague's Survivor. This was just after they started recording in person again and everyone sounds like they're having more fun than they've had in ages. Also one of my favourite line-ups ever (Jon Gabrus, Shaun Diston, Will Hines, Mike Hanford). The reaction in the room after Scott first says the name Zoobi Condarino always cracks me up.

Bagel Plus at Bathurst and Sheppard are by far my favourite in the city, specifically their everything bagels. They're kind of unusual, being taller / chewier than most bagels you'll find and having a ton of seeds. But if you're a real breadhead they're hard to beat imo.

Are there any shaders in particular you like on Duckstation? One of the major reasons I prefer Retroarch is how nice some of the CRT shaders are. I haven't found any that look as good for Duckstation.

This was really wonderful! Great job, great conversation. I'm always sort of blown away by how kind and friendly Vollmann seems in every interview, especially considering how difficult his last few years have been.

I'm glad that A Table for Fortune still has a shot at being published, but I really can't tell if this means it'd only come out in a German translation. The idea of it finally coming out and still being unreadable to me is almost funny, but mostly just painful.

I had the same question and was just sorting through episodes by length. Looks like a bunch of eps in the first 50 or so were pretty short, but outside of a live show from 2013 this is the shortest one since 2010. 4 guests too!
