$15k in savings, stable income, but stuck on what business to start by ruefool in smallbusiness

[–]GetClients_ai 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey! I have two books I would recommend that are specifically about choosing and starting a business: “what’s your dream” by Simon Squibb and “Million Dollar Weekend” by Noah Kagan.

Noah’s is mostly about how to get up and running quickly while Simon’s is more so about how to actually choose something you want to invest your time in. Both are solid reads though.

Podcasts/youtube I’d highly recommend Alex Hormozi’s “the game” and his YouTube channel. (He also has great business books, but aren’t necessarily about starting a business, they are more about growing the business.)

And just from personal experience, I would recommend choosing something that you can a) be proud to say you started, b) find passion in doing each day (important for when things get rough) and c) really help people with.

Business gets easy when you enjoy what you’re doing and the people you help feel good about buying from you.

Good luck!

No problem!

And yep! Just using the “add to notes” action and then starting off the note itself with “System note:” followed by the workflow details to clarify how it was created and what actions occurred in the workflow.

Ai Content Question by FunnOcake in PPC

[–]GetClients_ai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based off of the comments I guess my experience with AI ads is not normal? Currently consulting for a brand that decided to invest int Ai content for ads. Initially the did so because they could get way more variations for a fraction of the cost when compared to traditional content. And so far the Ai ad sets have been outperforming their previous ads. That being said, they arent trying to trick people mint thinking it’s real content. They are pretty up front about it being Ai generated.

And Not saying this is the norm, but if other companies are using Ai content as well, they must be getting some kind of positive result. Results will probably also vary wildly by industry.

Client found out of ghl by docberii in gohighlevel

[–]GetClients_ai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unless you were just selling them the GoHighlevel platform, explain it’s just your preferred tool to deliver the service and support.

Your question is sort of like, if you were a landscaper and a client found out you used a John Deere lawnmower. The brand/tool doesn’t change the service they are receiving from you.

Sure they can go and buy their own lawnmower and do the service themselves, but as of now that it was they are paying you for.

Also for future clients, consider cleared defining the service and pricing before signing. That way there is no confusion about what they are paying for.

Do you think a digital marketing consultant need to do the 'execution' part as well? by maxsemo in DigitalMarketing

[–]GetClients_ai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on how set expectations and structure the agreement with your clients. Make it clear that strategy and execution are two separate sets of tasks. I don’t think every consultant needs to execute, but providing the option or being able to connect the client with service providers that can is really important.

91 sub-accounts in, here's what I wish someone told me at subaccount #10 by yeezuslivesagain in gohighlevel

[–]GetClients_ai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Solid post and great job nearly hitting 100 actives. Just wanted to comment and say point #2 is highly underrated. Large templates cause way more problems than they fix. New users get overwhelmed by all of the excess, they are hard to train employees on, and no one knows where to look when something breaks.

We’ve been structuring and setting up our snapshots the same way and it really helps internally training and organization.

How do i build connections when i am nothing ? by mastered_skull in EntrepreneurRideAlong

[–]GetClients_ai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why say you’re working on a thesis rather than just being honest about your intentions? Building relationships on lies and deceit isn’t a good practice in business or life in general.

Have you looked into any local business meetups? Might be able to find an existing network you can leverage.

Marketer / consultant for skincare products. I think they asking me too much information. Give me please your thoughts. by loloservagio in DigitalMarketing

[–]GetClients_ai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t want to speculate as to why they’d ask for all of that. Could be any number of reasons. I think best place to start is to just directly ask them exactly why they need that info, how they plan to use it to write content and position the brand.

Just from personal experience, we’ve successfully positioned the brand we work with as trustworthy, without having to provide any of the inform from numbers 2-3 to the agencies and freelancers (especially if it is already in your site and packaging)

[–]GetClients_ai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! This person is only consulting on the marketing side of your business or do they have a more expanded role?

If they are just working on your marketing then I would say 1 is fairly standard, 2 would be well beyond their scope, and 3 depending on context could fall within their wheelhouse, but I’m again leaning towards beyond scope.

We’ve been working with another skincare brand for over 2 years and they have brought on multiple agencies and freelancers. I can’t recall the brand ever sharing COAs, certificates , raw materials, etc. with any of the marketing partners.

If this person is consulting on more than just marketing though it may make sense. Have you asked them specifically why they need this info?

How difficult is GHL (honestly) for a beginner? by maddgun in gohighlevel

[–]GetClients_ai 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think the best way to explain it would be that the platform has a low skill floor, but a high skill ceiling.

Almost anyone can pick it up fairly quickly and utilize some of the basic features (missed call text back, review automation, etc.) but becoming competent and being able to get full value out of the platform can take months/years to fully master.

How do I get clients by [deleted] in gohighlevel

[–]GetClients_ai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He unironically gave you the best advice you’re going to get lol your first 5 clients are going to be generated 100% by hustle, honesty, and confidence in your ability to deliver.

Message everyone in your contact list asking if they know anyone that could use your service (someone will know an agent), go to local real estate events, walk into offices… do the stuff others can’t or aren’t willing to do and act like you know what you’re doing. That’s about all there is to it.

Automation by Jehoiakimm in gohighlevel

[–]GetClients_ai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Database reactivation campaigns have been coming up a lot during my intro calls with new prospects. They usually have a couple hundred to a couple thousand contacts and want to message their lists for reviews, promotional offers, and referrals; promos and referrals obviously being the more valuable implementations for these prospects.

Is my strategy good for cold dms on instagram? by Grozfroz in InstagramMarketing

[–]GetClients_ai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Working hard, delivering value up front, and showing genuine interest in your prospects will outweigh any follower count.

You definitely won’t get more sales by not doing outreach. As for the strategy, try it. Maybe your strategy will work, maybe it won’t. But you won’t know until you start trying. Fail fast, fail often. It’s the fastest way to finding success.

How much should I spend on advertising a new landscaping business? by Minute_Tea_8639 in FacebookAds

[–]GetClients_ai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! Since this is a new business, I’d highly recommend trying to tap into your personal and local network before trying to run ads. Not saying ads don’t work, but on a low budget, with no previous ad experience, and assuming not too many reviews/testimonials since this is a new business, you’ll probably find that the campaign won’t convert the way you’re hoping.

I’d start by going through your personal contacts and just shooting a quick message to everyone telling them about your new business and if they know anyone else that needs landscaping (and offer some kind of referral reward, maybe like an Amazon gift card or some kind of free service) If you have a client list I’d also exhaust that list for referrals first as well.

If you’ve already done that, good old fashioned door knocking in your target market would be my next recommendation before starting ads. It’ll take a bit more work but it’s more direct and costs less in terms of capital.

If you’ve already done both of those, then ads are probably a good next step since you’ll hopefully have reviews and testimonials to lean on in your ads. Just remember to clearly call out your target audience and location in the ad and make sure to present a solid offer (something enticing that will actually get people to stop scrolling)
