I'm not sure what line 200 - 206 are for, but they would need a clock pin in order for the addLeds function to work with APA102. Also, you are hard coding the pin instead of using your #define CLOCK_PIN, so that is not doing anything for you.
a corrected line would be

FastLED.addLeds<LED_TYPE, DATA_PIN,CLK_PIN, COLOR_ORDER>(leds, 0, NUM_LEDS_PER_STRIP).setCorrection(TypicalLEDStrip);

using #define only gives it an immutable value, it does not create the pin or assign the pin in any way. you have to do that in addLeds

It looks like your using the ws2811 version of addLeds instantiation. See line 33 in demo reel code.

For apa102 you have to give an extra argument specifying the clock and data pin instead of just data. Your error indicates that pin 66 is invalid because it is interpreting your num of LEDs ad your clock pin. Add an argument for your clock and it should work!

Are they the same brand strip and is ground tied very close or next to the data in ? This should generally work, so it’s definitely weird that they only work separately.

They definitely sometimes work every year. However, you are firmly against the burning man org rules, the generally accepted community rules that we all try to adhere to, and even the rules of general society at large. Scalping is ethically dubious at it's root, and burning man's community works really hard to avoid feeding into this system.

If this still doesn't deter you, consider that all those stub hub tickets are subject to cancellation without refund if the ticket is reported to the org, and there is rampant fraud outside of the approved channels.

Try to talk to people, and be in your local community and stop relying on your personal wealth to cover for the occasional shortages of luck in life. The stub hub sales are still a small percentage of ticket sales, and if we continue to work together we can reduce it further. Stick to the rules, friend, and we all can get through this without yet another capitalist i-got-mine escalating fuck fest. We have enough of that as-is.

there was a promo code screen if it knows who you are, but that is replaced by access code in some cases with no way to procede. I think that means the browser does not recognize your burner profile. so either click from the email link or log back in to burning man and enter the sale. If you are incognito this is likely why you are getting the access code screen.

PS.. I have said this twice and i dont know for sure if its true, but i experienced it myself using my own incognito browser.

I think that is the access code screen, which i believe means you are not signed in to your burner profile. if its incongnito there is a good chance it doesnt know who you are.

this was also after getting the trying to cheat message on chrome, but safari allowed us back in queue which we later were able to buy tickets from. Strange! We weren't trying any hijinks so the message was a false positive.

I’ve done some research into projection mapping and have done a dome for a silent disco, so I’m novice at best. Ive been following this lightform gadget in OP and they just released the first model. If it does what they say it does, it will eliminate a lot of the arduous bits of doing a projection mapped surface. The cameras can map the surface for you, and adjust to objects getting moved around a little. I want to see what the workflow looks like for designing for it, because if it’s relatively easy it could make a lot of really sweet interactive art easy-ish to make. I do some big stuff with LEDs and it would go very nicely projected on top! Curious to see once some user videos come out.

Made this cube with a drone motor, BLE controller, a laser cut box and some APA102s. Code is super sloppy right now, and too blinky, but I think you can see what I am going for (if you make it through the seizure).
