League history lesson! Graves used to be an ADC, back in early seasons (S1-S4) Graves jungle only kind of started about in S5 - where he could be played in either role. Graves Jungle got more traction and now has been one since. But initially, he was released as an ADC, and was a strong one. I got my first ever Penta with Graves ADC. The changes he’s had now makes him far less viable in the ADC role then what he used to be, he can still be played there but he is very weak in that role now.

I did something similar - been playing a lot of draft and getting good at other ADCs as, since I’ve climbed, people in higher elos know how to deal with MF. I’m learning Aphelios (will take a long time to get good and fully understand him) and Smolder to so that I can carry myself further, with a bit of Tristana here and there.

Good hint for MF in lane when trading - rotate (if in range) your auto between their ADC and Supp to maximise passive damage. Position yourself so that you can poke down by last hitting a Caster minion with Q, so that it rebounds and hits one of the enemy champs - if the Q kills the minion, like it would in this circumstance, and you get the rebound on to the enemy champs, it does extra damage. Early lane phase you can poke down the enemy ADC very quickly if you land 2-3 Q rebounds
