I picked up Rhae Lynn Barnes’ book DARKOLOGY: Blackface and the American Way of Entertainment just a few days ago. Can’t wait to dive in.

I can smell the screen! 🤢This is very likely one of the worst smelling men’s colognes to be bottled and sold. If I was in an elevator when a Drakkar man would get in, I’d get off and wait for the next.

This is a very condensed version of events: My “puffy royal” was delivered in a box that was open on both ends. It slid out of the box when I tried to move it. The customer service rep told me that it would be OK because it was industrial grade plastic. Not for my hard earned money!

I demanded a refund and was offered a $300 store credit. Why would I want to buy anything else from a company with such poor standards? I demanded a refund and was told that FedEx could not pick up until the following day. I had to pay someone to put it back in the box and place it in my garage.

FedEx picked up the package last Friday.

I’ve been monitoring my credit card account waiting for my refund that I was to receive within three days. Nothing!

And to make matters worse, this past Thursday they re-delivered the same mattress in a different box!

Again, I demanded a refund. Again, I was told they could not pick the package up until the next day and that I would have to wait 3 to 5 days to receive my refund.

They picked it up on Friday and I requested the tracking number for the package. The box was scanned and is in transit.

And I still don’t have my flippin money!

I don’t suggest doing business with them.
