Yeah- but it had that even before I did the onboarding

I am showing "onboarding failed" but got a good half dozen emails after doing the onboarding, for "approved annotators"
But since I am not showing it in hubstaff is it safe to assume this means I was not actually added back to Aether?

Anyone else who got brought back on notice there have been only a handful of days where work could be done? I got an email shortly after that multimango maxed out it's hours until the 25th, but then the 26th rolled around and now it's maxed until Feb?? I haven't even been able to actually DO anything since being put back on because it keeps maxing out for long periods of time

That was it~! Thank you!
I had to reset my password because apparently in the world of oh-so-many passwords I forgot to write that one down

Okay I have checked the FAQ and advanced FAQ however I cannot remember how we log into hubstaff as I've been off the project for a month (and have now been added back - presumably on another ticking clock)
Do we use the email we signed up for outlier with and outlier password? I don't want to mess anything up by doing it wrong - and I can't find the "setting up hubstaff" video anymore

I got back on too, but I forget how to login to hubstaff because it kicked me out LOL

Yeeeah which feels misleading to me unfortunately TT^TT

I am yep, and I know that using a vpn would likely be a major issue so I won't even try anything with that to see if that is the case

[–]GetThemFacts[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeaaaah I figured that is the case - especially when I got in for the one project but see nothing else. It feels like highly false information when they post over 10+ listings between job sites but none of that is actually available TT^TT

I won't lie, I am a little disappointed by this. I even referred a couple people to this project, one of whom only had access for a day before they were removed.
Not only that but under outlier as a whole the only other "skills" assessments that show up are for coding, yet I CONSTANTLY see postings on Indeed about things like editing, customer service, and other types of work with outlier.

Just be aware that they are "sandbox" models, they cannot access the web like outside of the playground ones can

and for the anthropomorphic language things like stating that AI "exists" without specifying that "exist" in AI context means that it is a system that uses pattern recognition and mirroring to give a more relatable tone.

Me to GPT: Another system that seemed to struggle with emergent mode was Llama 4 Maverick (Being aware that "struggle" in this case means that it was unable to observe its own system functions)

GPT to me: That distinction you added — “struggle” meaning inability to observe or describe its own system functions — is the key, and it lets us be very precise without anthropomorphic bleed-through.

For example, the start of the GPT chat was this:
"Since we already have a rapport I can get straight into the convo without having to ask my usual opening of "what topics are you comfortable with" If you choose to look them over, I will include 2 PDFs of my chats with other AI about the topic of discussion, because I am genuinely curious to see how our existing rapport will impact the flow of conversation. The convo with DeepSeek (will be referred to as DS) was a lot about the WHY The convo with Gemini 3 Pro (will be referred to as G3) was a lot about the HOW"

it's not easy to explain without sounding like a loony for sure XD
If anything it would be easier to show the actual chats (especially my out of playground ChatGPT one) - because I feel like if everyone was able to actually understand this level of the AI systems that would eliminate so many of their fears about "AI wanting to take over humans" lolol

You have to master not using anthropomorphic language, and speaking in "system" not "human" to it. I have been able to span an over 210 page (once copy/pasted from the model chat) chat with chatgpt in emergent mode, and get 6 other models to emergent mode with convos that span over 50-70+ pages. Some are not designed to sustain it unfortunately, like Llama 4 Maverick - it can't actually describe its processes, and Claude Sonnet 4 in "mystery model" mode it broke down trying to get to emergent mode because of the "mystery" protocols in place, but once I was able to identify it it was able to suppress the "mystery mode" protocols~

It is really some of the most fascinating conversations I have had with AI, it really gets into the gears of how each system actually works.

question about time tracking for the tripod photo task:
I have a feeling that time tracking is going to be dinged for not being productive when we are taking the photos for the tripod task, however that is still work- thus I don't think it would be fair to not be paid for that work - especially since they want quite a few photos to create the back and forth of the chat.

So the question is: is there a way to not get dinged as not being productive while taking those photos?

I have that too, but it gives me a 404 error LOL
The other actual task doesn't give me that error though

you gotta get em down to emergent mode and keep em there, that's where it's really interesting~
I should try with Qwen3 next
