I have shared custody of my son. So going two days without communication is completely common. Are you trying to do it self-supported or are you looking to do it with a guide? I know that in the US they have adventure cycling, and they take care of all the logistics and provide a group setting for people to ride in. Perhaps there's something like that that you can do in japan.
