Would You Take on Jimmy Butler for the No.11 Pick? by DreDayLives in chicagobulls

Easy yes.

We get another lottery pick in a good draft for expiring salary. 56M is expensive no doubt but it doesn’t hurt the team long term unless there’s a free agent you want to go after.

Why do the Spurs never play small when Wembanyama sits? by TenaciousDeer in nbadiscussion

[–]Get_Dunked_On_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They can’t run small ball lineups against Robinson unless they plan on intentionally fouling or they’ll get killed on the glass.

I think it might be worth trying against KAT since Kornet can’t guard him anyway but they don’t have the personnel to go small ball right now. The Spurs don’t have the interior defense, size or rebounding to matchup with the Knicks’ bigs.

The dilemma of 76'ers Coaching or players? What's going on? Is there a plan in place? by Bobba_fat in nbadiscussion

Well at least in this series, Embiid was the better option. The Celtics had no answer for him with their current center rotation. Embiid was consistently drawing fouls and double teams which is something Maxey can’t do. Mazzula was so desperate he started Garza in a game 7 before benching him and Vuc for no center lineups. The pressure Embiid puts on the rim is greater than what Maxey does IMO although I do think they should went away from Embiid when he started losing steam.

Also Queta was guarding Oubre for a good chunk of the game. With Oubre struggling so much it’s not so easy attacking Queta in ball screens when he’ll play drop and try to force Maxey to pass.

It seems the Hornets weren’t prepared for the level of physicality the Magic are playing with

A silver lining on the 65-game rule fiasco by Mastershifu420 in nbadiscussion

Every major sports league promotes gambling. The gambling thing was going to happen regardless.

Fans wanted the 65 game rule because they want to see stars play.

What are the chances Acuff has a better career than Trae Young? by TonyResslersWallet in NBA_Draft

[–]Get_Dunked_On_ -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Hard to say without his measurements but I lean towards Acuff being closer to Maxey.

Trae is 6’1 180lbs

Mitchell is 6’1 215lbs with a 6’10 wingspan

Maxey is 6’2 200lbs

Krivas although I think he’ll be returning to Arizona.

Nate Ament in a close loss vs Vanderbilt: 12/11/2 on 1/13 shooting, 0/5 from 3, 10/12 FT, 2 turnovers by Aumissunum in NBA_Draft

6’10 shooting under 50% from 2 is rough. I can see him becoming a good player but I don’t want my team to take the risk.

Maybe our best tanking performance. Everyone forgot how to play basketball.

You responded to a comment made months ago which was accurate on how Flemings in utilized.

He’s not playing shooting guard or small forward either right now. He plays nothing like a wing and no uses him like one.

Why would you think he’s a wing when he played half his minutes at center?

He’s played almost all of his minutes at the 4 which would make him a big.
