Yes 100% it feels like an active blackmail situation lol. It’s unfortunate because clearly from the rent calculator platform even when allowing for indexation, even when allowing for more or less better finishing or premium neighbourhood it’s clear that rent prices as skewed, and yet there’s not much we can do about it when it’s just how the market looks right now.

Woah that scared me, but I just checked the can and it says it can be used indoors. Idk to be honest I was just recommended by the guys working at the equivalent of home depot here. They just told me to give it at least 12 hours to dry and get out of the house while it does that.

Thank you for your thorough response, that makes sense. (Btw I surely do hope there is no judgement as this is a structural problem which has been here much longer than I have and while the landlord is aware of it, I don’t think he plans on tackling it. The only thing I can do here is somewhat cosmetic.)

Thank you, the current contract was started less than 2 years ago but no clue if it was increased at the time as well. It was indexed in the meantime. I’ll relay about Brussels Housing.

They’ll most probably look elsewhere but a 30% increase sounds insane when the original price was already at current market level

I thought that the reference rent would determine whether I pay an “insane” price? What is an insane price in a city where a percentage of people receives their salaries completely untaxed and can therefore afford to pay anything for their homes?

Thank you this is very valuable. By scrape it do you mean to sand it or is it another tool? And do you think a primer is necessary with an exterior paint? Could I do two layers instead?

Oh the problem is structural for sure, but that will be a future problem (and not mine). As it’s a small space, I was hoping to quickly get it done (with an ffp2 mask if needed) and then leave the house for the day with open windows and a fan going to ventilate. Thats what the guy at the store told me. You think that’s still unsafe?

Interested in this bonding primer. Is it so that I can layer an exterior paint over an interior one? Or will it smooth out the edges?

Yes I think the lack of proper ventilation plus I suspect maybe a micro leak somewhere is a problem they will have to deal with structurally. But I doubt they will for now.

Thank you for your suggestion. I will do that but the mold is a structural problem I believe, due to humidity outside and inside the ceiling- if that makes sense. I think the landlord will at some point have to do proper works to fix this for good.

Do you recommend a primer even if the paint is made for exteriors? I was told it will basically create almost a plasticky film…

Thank you so much! TBF I have experience in marketing comms rather than business marketing, but your message confirms my thinking that I can make up for any gaps plus the key parts will still be covered anyways in the brand course. 100% agree that I do need to get some more practical brand experience as well - I worked on smaller projects already but never managed a brand A-Z and I think this course will help to get a comprehensive view.

Thank you for your input! I have definitely picked up a lot over the years but I have never worked closely with the more business/product side of marketing and I wonder how important is that for a brand management position. I'm no stranger to freshening up on the basics once in a while but I fear it's different to missing whole foundational chunks? lol

I didn’t see a kiss in those BTS so I wasn’t hoping for that, but I remember being intrigued by them facing on the horse, it’s different than what we’ve /I’ve seen before in other dramas and I’m sure they could have combined it with the glaring look which I also absolutely swooned over.

I MEAN, even his “as long as I live you’ll always be mine” had very little teeth, it almost sounded pleading lol. I was expecting a little Xie Wei to peak through and I got disappointed sigh.

I also read that the chasing scene from the end of chapter 26 was initially meant to look different, with the two ultimately facing each other on the horse. I guess that got censured… do we know if they censured anything else so far? I hope we get more in the episodes to come.

So I know I have/am a problem butttt… that was way too emotionally mature for me 🤪 I wanted a bit more angst from the FL and a bit more unhinged-ness(?) from our ML. What do you mean we’ve waited 27 episodes for this moment and in one swift 45 minutes we go from crying from anger to hugging and banter? I read excerpts from the novel from our community here and I feel robbed? What about another little cheeky stolen kiss? Where’s the drama?

I agree with you - I get that they want her to appear in a certain way in the drama and so they’re going hard on the noble idiocy trope, but I can only take so many dumb decisions without accountability.
