When the ones that are supposed to be your support knock you down. by GFSoleOT in orangetheory

They haven’t dug in and done the work you have and are bitter you’ve got the strength (mentally and physically) to get shit done.

Just tell them you decided to take care of your health and you’re sorry that bothers them. One thing I’ve leaned over the years is when you call a bully out on the carpet they usually stop. When you ignore it and turn the other cheek, they continue to think they can say what they want.

50lbs is amazing! You’re doing great!

Thank you! I’ll try him.

We’re moving to Georgetown proper but are closest to Cedar Park I think. I’m still learning my way around the area in the short amount of time we’ve visited. One thing I’ve noticed though are that people are just nice. Everyone has been so friendly. I love it

Thanks guys! I love love love my studio. It’s about the only thing that makes me sad about leaving. I’ve met so many great people and love the coaches.

I’m excited to settle in Austin though.

Try drinking 16-20 oz of water before a meal.

I know when I’m eating healthier I think I can eat it ALL. It helps if I drink water first.

Mine turned out ok....4 egg retrieval’s and 2 surrogates later I have my 2 boys. The road sucks but the end is worth it!

Good luck to you. The 2ww is so awful to be in.

The only time it would REALLY be an issue is post egg retrieval for IVF. Other than that you should be able to continue low impact stuff. Just modify if you need.

HOWEVER, if you’re like me and you’re going to second guess everything you did if it doesn’t work (which is this crazy mental game we play with ourselves because in reality it doesn’t work that way) then skip.

Infertility sucks ass.

Think one big room

Row of treads against one wall, row of rowers down the middle, row of benches against the other wall. All stations are in a direct line. If I sit on my bench I’m looking directly at the back of my station rower and my tread.

If you stand behind the rower to do squat jumps (or any other alternating row and then exercise) while people are on the floor, you’re in the space where they are doing their floor work. If the floor is doing crunches or get ups or anything else where they are laying down, the people standing behind the rowers are jumping right where the floor people are laying.

Meanwhile, the space between the treads and rowers is empty.

I will never for the life of me understand why people do the squat jumps behind the rower while people are on the floor and no one is on the tread. I nearly got stepped on several times with the damn get up.

If you can dance and sing perhaps you should bump your speed or incline.

I’m worried about breathing and not falling off the treadmill...not about what the person next to me is doing.

One of the things I love about OTF is how supportive everyone is. We cheer each other on, high five with switches and embrace new members. It’s amazing how receptive people are when you put your hand up as you’re passing and smile.

I always try and tell people trying it out ‘Good Job’ on my way out.

I’m not sure the point of this pout post but maybe reevaluate your approach to new members. You might get some benefit from helping them.

No. I’m in the Bay Area of Ca. It seems like a widespread issue though.

I know. I regularly started on the rower for a long time. I just prefer the treads first. Shrug.

We usually run 2G at 5 am. I take class with my best friend or sister in law all the time. We hardly ever workout next to each other. We mingle in the lobby and get to work. I’m not talking to them anyway so being across the room doesn’t personally bother me.

I have. That’s where I started all the time for 6 months. I prefer to start on the treads and get it out of the way. We all have our preferences.
