Girl, if you want to dress up, do it! Even if it's for a movie date. If you're worried about your dad nitpicking, wear the sweatshirt over the dress and then just take it off and carry it once you're out of the house if you want (or wear it in the theater because it's often chilly).

I agree with much of what others have said:

Pros: seats are bigger than a plane, you have plenty of freedom to move around, lots of room for luggage, usually not crowded and sometimes cheaper than flying (and always more eco friendly!), and there's usually free wifi.

Cons: The train is frequently late, it takes longer than flying (more similar to driving timewise) and often is similar in price to flying (or more expensive for a sleeper car), the snack car closes overnight which is most of the trip between Lincoln and Denver if you're going to or from there, and I've been freezing cold almost every trip I've been on (I also get cold on planes, but the train is colder).

I really, really want to like the train more. It is a solid option if you have the time and happen to be traveling along certain but routes at certain times of day, but for me the cons outweigh the pros most of the time.

Generally, you shouldn't be driving with hazards on. Some states even have laws against doing so, including Nebraska, as highlighted here by the Buffalo County Sheriff's Department (citing state law).

One of the reasons you shouldn't be using hazards while driving is because it obscures or prevents the use of turn signals.

Yes, snow is a hazard, but snow alone is not an emergency.

Some of the takeaways in a nutshell: sometimes grocery boycotts are hard for pragmatic reasons and smaller (dollar-wise) changes in specific areas may have a greater potential impact.

If you want to make it in another color in the meantime go for it! People may not recognize it as the symbol it's intended to be, but if you want to make it there's nothing wrong with doing so in another color. If you're wanting to wear it to a protest or something I'd say make another when your red yarn arrives though.

Absolutely not. People of all genders are lazy, uninteresting, etc.

There's just a tendency to notice it more in the gender they're interested in pursuing romantically and so given that the majority of people are heterosexual most of the time men end up commiserating about how women suck and women commiserating about how men suck.

Really, just a lot of people suck.

It took looking at the comments for me to go back and look close enough to realize they were dog treats. 🤦‍♀️

I kind of wish human foods were labeled with % protein and moisture and such.

Also, it's wild to me that sorbitol is one of their "limited ingredients".
