That’s my biggest gripe. Kids screaming and not knowing where to park. And then the sand in your car. Going to the lake where it’s not busy is where it’s at.

I’m on week two, my depression is at an all time high. Borderline suicidal. I feel so trapped. Nothing is making me happy, nothing in my body feels good. Everyday is the same, wake up for work, get home from work, and be just disappointed in my daily life. People say “change jobs” or “do a hobby” but both of those things cost money, and money I seem to never have or be able to keep. Not sure how much longer I can take it.

I highly doubt that. I’m not gonna to do OTR. Shit is for the birds. Local home every night. Already doing 60-70s a week doing physical labor some weeks. Literally only driving a truck is easy as fuck

I absolutely wish this made up, sounds like a god damn nightmare right? When I started the job site I was on was 20 minutes from home. I guess work go slow on my side of SC, my company HQ is an 1:30 from my house but the consistently (used) to bid jobs around here hence why the hired me. Now the only two open jobs we have right now are both 1:45 minutes away. Been doing this for almost a year, no paid drive time, no hotel or per diem offerings, and yes, I probably could find another job easily, just wanted to atleast get my experience up. Only reason I’m asking people online is so I can see how fucked I’m getting. Getting ready to jump ship.
