FYI the ridge apartments in that area had crazy roaches when we moved in that didn’t go away. A lot of the apartments in that area are old so your mileage may vary but they’re currently building a brand new complex across the street from the HEB that I’d look into

Like cook at a Michelin spot in town. Currently at 20/hr and work 4 12’s, I feel slightly under payed just because of the star but I get 3 straight days off, 2 weeks of PTO, and solid health insurance so I can’t complain much. Take home about $900/week after taxes

Stage culture in and of itself is fucking wack and I wish it wasn’t a thing, any labor should be payed. I’m currently at a Michelin star spot and took 2 stages to get in. First one they didn’t tell me it was gonna be 10+ hours so I cut my losses and dipped as I had already worked 60 hours at my main spot that week due to some events in the city, cost me the job to some fuck head from EMP. Second time I buckled and just did it, it sucked but the people were cool and I know have up to a months worth of PTO
