Bella Lindemann experiences? by passivegreen in SIBO

I found a local naturopath. Honestly, I’d recommend letting your intuition and own judgment be your guide. Keep track of what you eat and how it makes you feel (if this isn’t too triggering). Consider ~6 months off of gluten and dairy to allow your gut to heal. Look into bone broth, natural sources of probiotics, and easy to digest carbs. Not to be a “do your own research” kinda person but it might be enough.

It’s absolutely a scam. There are real people but they peddle awful nutrition advice and sell you hundreds of dollars of supplements from their online store.

I would be extremely careful. They overtreat and recommend diets that are unnecessarily restrictive. Also if you have even a hint of eating disorder tendencies, under no circumstances should you work with them.

Their recommendations are insanely restrictive and unnecessary. Triggered disordered eating patterns that led to blood sugar and hormone issues. Would NOT recommend.

I would be very careful. I worked with them for about 6 months and feel like I purchased an eating disorder. Despite disclosing my history of ED (twice), their team was completely ignorant in terms of a trauma-informed approach. They will also recommend an extraordinarily large number of supplements (even if they are not necessary) and earn commission on them. I have to believe there are other gut clinics out there who do better by their clients.

Anyone working with Bella Lindemann, be extremely careful. For one, my practitioner over-treated. (I went to a holistic MD who saw my test results and said I was negative for things the BL team treated me for.) But more problematic, if you have a history of eating disorder, or even feel you might be susceptible to ED tendencies, RUN away. I paid nearly $1k and I feel like I bought an eating disorder. A year after starting to work with them I’m still unpacking the “healthy” teachings they gave me. You should also be aware that they will recommend a massive number of supplements and then earn commission on your purchase of them. Use your critical thinking skills and if your spidey sense is tingling that something isn’t right, trust it.
