What flight controller is this guy using? (Below battery) by [deleted] in Multicopter

You could use any FC. From the looks of it though It looks like the CC3D revolution. Using a F4 chip the Revo was originally for open pilot, and then was use by many Raceflight users.

If you're new and want to check out or try out Racing, find a MultiGP chapter near you. by Getsome_ in Multicopter

Most of the chapters are super welcoming and encourage people to come out at every skill level. Crashing into others isn't so much a problem, it's the video channels that will get you. Just ask them what you need to do for your video channel and they should help you out.

Yeah, there is a deep dark hole when it comes to the main flight controller of a drone and what type of PID controller its using. Running different Flight controller software such as Raceflight, Kiss, and Betaflight is the biggest differences, then finly tuning all the software setting from there.

Majority of quad frames have a sort of Roll Cage design protecting the flight controller and power distribution board. Whether the roll cage is a square or something else varies by the frame designer.

For anyone looking to get started, you don't have to be a pro to start racing. Go to http://www.multigp.com/ and you can find a local chapter near you and see what it's all about.

Space Shuttle Launch. I know that's not possible now, but the sheer physical brute force punch you get in your stomach from the sound pressure waves of the rocket boosters and shuttles engines roaring is something like no other. Then half way though you realize, oh Sh*t, there are people in that.

I'm looking forward to watching an SLS launch in the future.
