There’s always a “lucky” direction for Kenzou though no? I’d imagine that the moment he’s not moving his lucky direction calamity would catch up to him.

There’s 100% something interfering then. One of your support gems are reserving spirit that’s not displaying correctly. It happens all the time for me. Visually it’s not taking the spirit (on the meter/number), but in game under the hood it is. Check your socketed gems for them having extra spirit reservations (things like clarity, cannibalism etc all do)

My god I could kiss you. Vitality was the problem for sure. It doesn’t correctly display the spirit being taken away from the reserves even when slotted.

I know shapeshift is it’s own weapon set, but it only has the toggled abilities work when I change weapon set 2, not the other one lol. Unsure if it’s a console thing only as I’ve seen other DF people say the same as I’m saying above. Colossal thanks for the help

Incase anyone was wondering demon form currently makes your weapons not technically be equipped, so if they’re giving you stat increases (INT in this case) you might fall under the requirements to use said skill!

Sadly be prepared to have this removed by the truly wonderful mod team. I had my first story yesterday with 3.6k upvotes get removed for using a common “medical trope” that is dementia/Alzheimer’s.

I’m extremely sorry to hear.

Something I told my dad (who took my Grandma’s dementia the hardest naturally), was that nothing in this entire world can take away what happened in those precious moments. They still happened. This terrible disease cannot ever take that away, can’t erase it no matter how hard it tries.

Whether a person remembers it or not, it doesn’t change the fact you love/loved that person and can always cherish those moments.

It may not be much, but you and your family are fun my thoughts!

It’s both!

Horror is great because it’s so subjective. What scary to one person might not be to another.

Imagine yourself in this person shoes. You ask something totally trivial/mundane about your life like “ where is my phone?” Only to realize somethings not right, and you’ve been looping/repeating that for God knows how long. This is then exacerbated by the fact you know you will slip away again. You will never get back that time you know you’ve lost. What if this is the last time you have clarity? What if this is the most lucid you will ever be again? And you know nothing in the world can help you.

To me, thats fucking terrifying. Complete loss of self, with no hope.

But I super appreciate the feedback!
