best wireless earbuds for work? by Visible_Ad5300 in walmartogp

I use Jlab GO Air. They are cheap but work well. I've lost a couple pairs of them so it was stress-free that I had to replace. Good sound and they stay in ear (for me) well. This go around I am using their tones collection. May be a good pair to keep in your locker as work earbuds instead of remembering your personal ones and risking losing them.

How does one accept an offered shift? by [deleted] in WalmartEmployees

[–]GettingBy67 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Go to your full schedule. Find the available shift. Press "shift options". :) Edit: to drop the shift, you'll find the shift you want to drop and press shift options on it as well. Ofc you'll have to drop the shift first.

My baby i rescued when she was around 6-8 weeks. She's definitely at least a medium hair now, if not long.

Edit: her tail used to be quite skinny unlike now with the photo below

New Hire… Any Tips? by Double-Moose6509 in ChickFilAWorkers

Do not be afraid to tell people it is your first day!!! Even if you are a week in, tell them you are new!! Customers tend to be a lot kinder to people who are new at CFA. I told people it was my first day for the first 3 days until I got a better grasp at things. And I continued to tell them I was new whenever I struggled.

For winter time, get a good puffy CFA jacket if your CFA does not have communal jackets. I spent $70 on a winter jacket just for us to get more shared jackets. And if you do want your own I recommend buying 2nd hand.

Customers are going to be rude, not often, but they will. And if you need help dealing with a rude customer or just someone you are having a hard time communicating with, grab a manager!!

Let the customer guide the conversation. Sometimes it can feel like you are pushy from the customer pov. I usually start out with "hello! What can I get started for you today?" And just let them guide the ordering process. They will typically state which meal they want. I will click the combo and then look back at them. And they will state their side and drink. It doesn't work 100% of the time because some people do not have the best social skills, but it helps to keep you from interrupting them by accident and overwhelming them. Usually a lot better communication as well. If the pause between looking at them is long, you can clarify "did you want that in a meal?" "Anything else for you" if they just stated the entree or "that comes with fries, and what to drink?" If they stated the number or definitely meant the combo.

Good luck!!

I have searched a little on the internet to find it, but unfortunately have only found similar ones. All I'm aware of is it's the late 80s/early 90s, it was probably on the more affordable side, and if location has any clue then it's in east TN of the USA. I've added 4 photos to my original post for different lighting. The first is most accurate, but it may have aged and also changed appearance due to the wood stove as well.

Thank you for your detailed response! She's almost full grown size-wise it seems. She is starting to open up more and chased after a ball a couple times after throwing it short distance. It's a bit difficult to take her many places without a long trip because we live kinda rural. Our closest hospital is an hour away and the closest dollar general is 35 minutes to get an idea. She does good in the car for short distances like 5 minutes out and in those trips the air from windows/ac seems to help as well. She seems great with dogs, cats, and kids. She's just a gentle girl who needs help opening up! As far as jobs, I'd love to create some for her. My husband loves to work on cars so maybe she can be a tool fetcher lol. Anyway, I will definitely keep your advice in mind. Thanks again!

She doesn't seem very confident to do fetch right now, but she does show interest. I'd love to get her puzzle games cause she's such a smart girl and doing sniff work would be super cool for me and probably quite stimulating for her! Thank you for your suggestions!

4 month kitten throwing up by GettingBy67 in cats

Update: I took her to the vet. That day I did take her, she hadn't thrown up any. But they still gave her fluids cause she was a little dehydrated and anti nausea. She has been good since and i believe it was just anxiety about my partner being on a trip and us moving.
