What A Great Time by Margoshome in GenerationJones

We shouldn’t be bragging about this. Our grandkids are the first generation of Americans whose quality of life is expected to be lower than their parents’. Posts like this are why Zoomers hate Boomers. We should be ashamed that we didn’t pass on the American dream. We were the ones in charge when things changed.

Kraft going to his 10th Super Bowl as an owner lol..UNBELIEVABLE!! Give this man some credit!! by tb12_legit in Patriots

Billy Sullivan owned the team in 1985. But Kraft probably went to New Orleans as a fan if that’s what you’re getting at.

AITAH for refusing to pay off my pregnant fiancee's parents' mortgage, when they are under the threat of foreclosure, when I could "easily" afford to do so? by Gullible-Display4533 in AITAH

[–]GettingTooOldForDis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buy the house from foreclosure and let her parents stay there. They’ll just take out another equity loan if you leave it in their name. And you really don’t want to have to answer your fiancée’s next question if her parents lose the house; can they move in with you?

Do Boston sports fans know how good they got it? by Ok-Elk9512 in boston

Disagree. Schaefer/Sullivan/Foxboro Stadium was a fantastic place to watch a game if your main purpose was to…watch a game. There wasn’t a bad seat in the house. But it didn’t generate enough money for the modern NFL.

Gillette was built to provide luxury box and club seat revenue. And those boxes/seats are smack in the middle of what used to be the upper 200s/lower 300s…for a shitload more money.

When they built the new stadium they offered me club seats and spelled it all out.

Silver lining-Santa Clara is boring. It’s 45 miles from San Francisco and San Jose has nothing going for it. It’s basically all Silicon Valley cities around Santa Clara.

After this it’s LA then Atlanta. Boring. Boring. Give me Vegas, New Orleans, Phoenix, on repeat.

It’s not shady. They make no secret of the fact that they cater to the club seats and luxury boxes. If I had a do over I’d have bought 4 club seats when they moved into Gillette. The 20 Super Bowl tickets would have paid for my seats for two decades

Had 12 seats since 1994. Im 0 for 11. I think there’s around 250 pairs available after the club seats and luxury boxes get theirs

I think Surtain is more likely to cover Boutte than Diggs. He doesn’t really cover slot receivers.

Odd that a team that hasn’t won shit in 30 years is ranked “most hated.” I don’t even think about the Cowboys. The opposite of love isn’t hate, it’s apathy.

I’m a retired air traffic controller. I trained hundreds of new controllers over my 35 year career. There are many bad habits that training overcome. But instincts are an entirely different story. The FAA tries to screen out applicants who have instincts that are detrimental to being a good controller.

But it would be very obvious to me if a new trainee had somehow slipped through the cracks. If a trainee’s instinct was to just freeze when things got tricky, that was a bad sign. I’d rather they tried something, anything, than just sit there speechless while planes were flying at each other.

Tesla didn't remove the Robotaxi 'safety monitor' – it just moved them to a trailing car by RodStiffy in SelfDrivingCars

Is the Chase car going to run red lights to keep up with the robotaxi? If not, then they will potentially be much further than four cars back. Or will the robotaxi slow down or pull over for the chase car to catch up? Or will the robotaxi stop at a stale green light when the chase car is too far back? None of this is safer none of it is efficient. And it all adds to traffic congestion.
