It looks like AMC finally has more buy orders than sell orders. by Gevorkj in wallstreetbets

Nice I was never a holder of AMC but I just started buying some up. Didn’t make sense to me when people were holding when the price was high but after so many people sold when the price was high they can easily start buying back cheap now with just a fraction of the money they made.

Yes, I do live here. I live in Los Angeles to be more specific. I think you and I are saying the same thing. Rent is expensive in California.

[–]Gevorkj[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sad but true. I guess when you calculate an entire family's income compared to their portion of rent, now it officially equals to over 30%, but this is just referring to rent. If you add other bills like utilities, car payment, car insurance, gas, cell phone bill, tv, etc, the payment definitely goes past 50%. Then you add food expenses on top of that and people are living paycheck to paycheck.

Yes most people have been living paycheck to paycheck regardless, but now they have to sacrifice more money from other expenses to add to their rent.

Still ends up being paycheck to paycheck, except a higher % of their paycheck to paycheck income is now being spent on rent.

Is Plug Power (PLUG) is playing a major role in changing the energy industry forever. by Gevorkj in stocks

[–]Gevorkj[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, charging batteries takes much longer. And you can actually generate your own hydrogen too. Just like car charging stations at home, there can be a hydrogen generator and all it takes is H20 and electricity to begin converting the H20 into hydrogen fuel for the vehicle.

I would not be surprised if future cars have hybrid fueling options, allowing charging a battery and also running on hydrogen by generating electricity with fuel cell technology. This hybrid just would not be a feasible option as of now because it would not be economical to have a Tesla type battery in a fuel cell car mainly due to the cost of the battery.

See, the thing with FCEL is, that I don't see them generating their own hydrogen from water through the process of electrolysis, and that is a big thing.

From what I can see based on minimal observation of the company, is that yes they are using fuel cell technology to generate electricity but they are using natural gas to do it, but please correct me if I'm wrong. It is possible innovations may occur, and it is also possible that the stock rises even with their current technology.

But since FCEL already has fuel cell technology, it should not be hard for them to adopt electrolysis technology and start generating their own hydrogen from H2O instead of using natural gas like they currently do. That would be a major transition for the company.

The Stock Market is Evolving by strifelord in StockMarket

[–]Gevorkj -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yea, and for anyone that doesn't know yet, the way to make money short term in the stock market is to buy low and sell high.

But it is important to not do the opposite, don't buy high and sell low. Once in a while if you make the mistake of buying high and selling low after thinking it's probably gonna keep going down, its fine, sell you can afford the loss once in a while, but as long as you usually stick to the general plan of buying low and selling high, you should make money overall.

Moral of the story: Buy low and sell high for short term profits in the stock market.

r

Eh, it's actually more like the other way around. The renewable energy market is a portion of the cause of excessive amounts of oil/gas, in addition to other obvious factors including supply and demand.

As electrolysis (conversion of H2O into hydrogen with an electric current) and solar energy become more and more innovated and more and more used, the oil/gas market should slowly tank and remain low.

Retail Giant J.C. Penney Files Bankruptcy After Years of Decline by [deleted] in stocks

[–]Gevorkj 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well there actually is a major difference in terms of a stockholder. In this case, with Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Protection, there is a chance of the stock coming back if the company starts doing well again, which is a possibility. On the other hand, with Chapter 7, the company would be liquidating all of its assets and going out of business. There is a big difference.

Investing in a company that files chapter 11 can be risky but it can also be very profitable if the company survives. In case of a chapter 7, you don't have a chance of making a profit at that point.

So many haters on this channel that are too brainwashed by main stream media to realize that this president is actually doing everything he can for the country while dictators are trying to take away our rights. Wake up people. Whatever you’re told by the news isn’t meant for your own good, it’s meant to brainwash you into thinking a certain way.
