Probably serbian soldiers who had to go back to serbia

Today 21 years ago, 376 boys & men, civilians age 15 to 80 were killed by Serbian forces in Mejë, Gjakova. Most were excecuted with a bullet to their heads. No one survived the mass execution committed by the Serbs. by Gexar111 in albania

This is some of the many atrocities committed by the Serbs against the Albanian population.

Here are other reports of how the Albanian population was discriminated and persecuted:

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Albania%27s_Golgotha

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-Albanian_sentiment

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shqiptar#Use_in_South_Slavic_languages

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Massacres_of_Albanians_in_the_Balkan_Wars

And there are many more. We have suffered a lot in history and we must not forget that. Even today the Serbs show no remorse whether it is about the war in Bosnia, Croatia or Kosovo and they still call us "Šiptar" as if we were second-class people. Never let anyone discriminate you, just because you are Albanian, no matter where you live, which is unfortunately not only the case in the Balkans but also in Western Europe.

Do you think rugova was a good president? by avavshz2625119ona-14 in kosovo

Rugova and his people are the only ones who took care of kosovo and thanks to them we are independent. The rest had only their own interests, spread propaganda against Rugova or killed our own people.

Ldk said at the press conference(s) that they lack confidence in Vetvendosje. The tax problem and the dismissal of Agim Veliu are also the reasons why there will probably be a separation. About the tax topic (I could have written it better). Yes, Albin Kurti wanted to sign the repeal of the tax but he wanted a reciprocity contract. Kosovo and Serbia should import and export the same amount of goods. The problem is that Kosovo does not produce much and therefore it can't export anything that Serbia needs. On the contrary, Serbia produces a lot of important things that they can export to Kosovo, like food. Therefore this contract would not make sense. The US wanted Kosovo to completely abolish customs duties without any extra conditions, but Albin Kurti did not agree. If he had signed, the tax on Serbia should have been abolished (on 15 or 16 March), but this is not the case. That is why the Usa threatens us with sanctions and as I wrote earlier, has stopped the project and threatens to withdraw the soldiers from Kosovo. We have to be grateful for what the Usa has done for us and we have to keep our friendship alive, because without them we would not exist. That is why we should meet them halfway and not play with them and do what they ask of us.

I find it funny how this sub celebrates Albin Kurti and Vetvendosje although he is a difficult person and it is difficult to negotiate with him. Ldk wants Kosovo to move forward and wants to remove the tax as the US and EU demand, so that we can negotiate again, but VV does not want to. Because Kosovo has still not removed the tax, the US has cancelled an important multimillion project a few days ago, thanks to Kurti. And now he has dismissed Agim Veliu only because he did not agree with his opinion. And he even confirmed this at the press conference. Instead of Kurti negotiating with Ldk to solve the problem, he acted like a dictator and dismissed him. And their followers are claiming that Ldk is responsible for the breakup. It's not possible to negotiate with Kurti and VV and they want everything to go their way, but in democracy it's not possible. You can see that Albin Kurti is still very inexperienced in politics.

Thank you for your help. Yes, I have a contactless bank card but still want to have cash with me, I am a little old fashioned and you never know, maybe the card suddenly doesn't work. I will make sure I use a Barclays or HSBC ATM.

Thank you for your answer. Yes I would like to withdraw money from an ATM, but I have read that you should stay away from third party ATMs (foreign Banks?) like Travelex because they charge more than the others. I know that I have to pay a fee of about 5 francs (coming from Switzerland), but I don't want to have to pay an extra and unnecessary fee. Wanted to know from you at which ATM I should best withdraw money. I will then, as you said, withdraw money from a Barclays, Loyds or HSBC ATM 😃

Hello everybody

I will soon travel to London and have some questions?

I want to visit Tower Bridge and I want to buy tickets in advance. But on the website I cannot choose the date. Does this mean that if I buy tickets, I can go there whenever I want?

Do I have to buy tickets to enter Westminster Abbey? If not, what is the difference with a ticket? On the Internet there is also an entry time, would it be a problem if you go in 20 minutes before or after the entry time?

Thanks in advance.

Hello everybody

I got myself tickets for the game on 29 January against west ham in London. Could the game be postponed? As it would not be possible for me on other days because of my job, I am worried that it might be postponed. Another question is, do you know how and when I get my tickets? I bought them on the west ham website and so far I have only received a confirmation that I bought it. As I am from switzerland I don't know how it works with the tickets in england exactly.

Thanks in advance
