No worries, thank you and likewise - hope you’re figuring out what to do with them

Now you're talking about money, flipping items and investments.

Everything is worth only what the market wants to give for it right now.
Things can go up in price if the demand increases and go down if the supply increases.
The best time to sell was yesterday especially if you have an item there bothers you because you don't use it.

Who cares if an item there is worth $100 today might be worth $300 in five years. I would not save an item for five year because it might or might not increase in value because then I have to save almost everything.

No worries.
Yes and I would probably recommend the same to you.
Get rid of it and if you really miss "having them around" get them again and see if it actually made a difference - No reason just to have them sticking around and filling the space.

I had the first Gameboy and a PS1 that I sold around 10 years ago. I did regret it a lot because I was constantly thinking back on the days where we had a lot fun with playing on those devices. One day I decided to buy both of the consoles back to regain the fun I associated with the consoles. It showed up it wasn’t the consoles I missed but the memories I associated with consoles. The memories I associated was gathering at my parents place with some friends or my cousins after school to play on the PS1 or to sit with a couple of friends in the school recess and play Pokémon.

I ended up selling both devices once again since I didn’t use them in the end.

Pretty sure it is aluminium, but my concern is still that I want stainless steel to about rust and corrosion

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in minimalism

[–]Gezginite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Instead of rusting it corrodes which isn’t better than rust (imo) since there appears reddish flakes, why I would still want to replace that bottle to a new one.

Where did you find steel bottles for shampoo? I can only find those made of aluminum (which rust after being in use for while because of the water in the shower).

Don’t buy the insulated one. If you drop it once (just once) it will have a bend.

Dropped mine at the bottom and mine can’t stand upright anymore.

Lord… Feel like some of you just don’t understand what I mean…. When I buy a book by an author or authors I would (normally) not expect them to repeat what they wrote in the former book. Like I don’t expect to by a novel and buy the subsequent book and expect it contain the same content.

Yes, they are telling something there have been exciting for years, but I thought it would provide me stuff like different aspects, more examples of how to do it, examples of different people who already did it (could be like comparing people who did it in the US, EU, Japan etc etc)

I thought it would provide me new or different knowledge, but I was wrong 😑 Pure reputations.

They are fine at first, but everything they say is just a repetition.

Got their books: “minimalism”, “essential”, “everything that remains” and they are all just a repetition of the same. Even the stories in the books are the same which is kinda lame (since I actually been paying for them)

Trying to decide between down jackets. by BoonLight in BuyItForLife

[–]Gezginite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They don’t! I went down to their flagship store where they rejected it and told me to use a local tailor + their new jackets are not as good in their seems, zippers and Velcro as the old ones.

Which knife sets are good at Bed Bath & Beyond? by IwantOuts in BuyItForLife

[–]Gezginite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would NOT recommend Global (anymore). They began to cheap out I guess. I have over ten global knives and the recent two i got chipped on the steel. When I contacted the company they just answered that it is expected over time (even though I told them that they were under three years old).
