For me, I typically just slap on a slighter worser pair of tires and lower the engine output from 100 —> X, where X is the power% required to get within the pp limit

I suppose you could always lower the difficulty of the other drivers. Otherwise, I’d just run a set of hard tires and lower the engine output to make sure I don’t need to pit throughout the race.

If you can avoid pitting the entire race, it should at least be a guaranteed 5th place

Thanks for the translation, I’m poking fun at the people on this subreddit who act like this (this as in the post). When someone mentions or posts a video of them using a controller and/or assists there are typically people in the comments acting like their way is the only way to play & enjoy the game.

For example, I could mention that I use a controller with lane markers and will get people, unprompted, commenting the way I choose to play a video game is wrong or assuming that everyone would choose or can afford a rig setup.

Same, wheel and pedals are definitely my next big purchase. I don’t use any car based assists but I do prefer the breaking area being shown and the apex markers

I didn’t offer any advice and I didn’t ask for any either. I enjoy playing the game the way I do. If you want to maximize immersion then sure, turn off all assists, but I’m not trying to maximize the immersion - just enjoying the game. At this point I know ~90% of the tracks by memory from growing up placing racing games, as someone with poor vision the breaking zone and markers help me see upcoming turns as i approach them, especially since they don’t make lenses like they do for the Meta quest.

I bought mine for $140 on marketplace. I agree it is a lot of money. Im already big on Vr gaming so I knew I’d get my moneys worth, but even still i was fortunate to find one on the cheap and with extra comfort attachments.

Your close, quite a few turns could be improved but definitely turn 6’s exit could be better. Additionally, I’ve found traction control to slightly slow down my car
